Lots of awesome ship arrivals and reveals, like the alien ship rising from the bottom of the ocean in "Abyss", or the terrific alien mothership in "Close Encounters .. ", several more in the BSG new series. In all it would need a Top 100 i'd guess.

The rising of the Enterprise from under the sea (Star Trek: Into Darkness) was also spectacular, though I don't particularly like that movie and I see absolutely no reason to hide a starship underwater 😅

Way too many Stargate mentions.

You had Stargate Atlantis, but didn't show the first time we had the USAF Daedalus on screen? What about in Babylon 5 when the Minbari cruisers and Delenn's whitestar show up to scare off the second wave of Earth warships the episode "Severed Dreams", or when the EAS Apollo roared in to destroy the last orbital weapons platform in the episode "Endgame"? Hell, we could even go as far as The Orville, and the big battle half-way through season 2! :P

The Galactica jumping into atmo and freefalling before jumping out again. The assault on New Caprica was the stuff of legends.

Star trek the movie.... kirk and scotty in the shuttle going to inspect the refit enterprise B5 delen in the whitestar saving b5, only one human captain etc.... Farscape taylons first apperance on screen and also taylons death saving moya and the crew And the classic star trek 3 stealing the enterprise and excelsior stalling

The Lucifer emerging from a subspace jump in the intro to Freespace 1. The only wrinkle is the lack of a full visual, but that of course gives greater punch for later in the game when the Lucifer appears again.

You left out Babylon 5. Many great scenes. Some of the best battles ever.

Sorry, the visit to the refitted TOS Enterprise in the yards in ST:TMP should be here, as should the Galactica dropping into the atmosphere, and any of several good scenes in Babylon 5.

the Atlantis rising shot was so epic they used it in the shows opening titles. pretty awesome the Galaxy Class Enterprise got the send off she deserved - always felt mean spirited that the film makers destroyed her in Generations. Beautiful starship like her deserved some respect..damn it 😡

Atlantis rising out of the sea looked really cool, but at that rate of climb a sudden stop would have injured/killed most of the team.

I'm surprised after hundreds of years, the platform towers that used to hold the Axiom can still hold its weight after beimg subjected to the harsh weathers of the Earth. I thought it would snap and break when the ship landed.

the battlestar galactica one was good, just when you thought the Galactica would be lost, Pegasus arrives and saves the day.

My favourite ship reveal is the 1st appearance of a Shadow Vessel in Babylon 5 in the season one episode Signs And Portents .

A bit of modern bias there. The reveal of the mothership in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". Classic.

Babylon 5 "Endgame". The EAS Apollo jumps out of hyperspace and unloads everything on the orbital defense platform that's about to devastate the Eastern Seaboard of North America, just in time to save the EAS Agamemnon which is attempting to destroy it by ramming. Close enough run that the Agamemnon disappears in the explosion only to triumphantly burst safely through the expanding fireball. Now THAT'S an entrance.
