First album i ever bought with my own money was Gallagher & Lyle by believe or not Gallagher & Lyle. That was off the back of hearing Great Australian Dream on the radio. Have several of their albums in my collection. Pride of Scotland. 🏴

That is such a beautiful song Anita. It has a 60s James Bond/Nancy Sinatra feel about it.

Rod is also an incredible guitar teacher. Had the privilege of being one of his students in the '90s and he passed on so much guitar knowledge that I still use every day. Hope he's still out there and doing well!

Hey Anita, I’m very sad because I’m sick right now. I’ve been sick for about two weeks with a chronic cough and bronchitis. Can you please pray for me? And hopefully I’ll get better soon. I miss you heaps. I hope to see you at a gig when I’m feeling better.

Hi beautiful Anita it’s Sophie here. I just wanted to let you know that I will be seeing you in July for a gig. My mum is going to America in one week time. I am so excited for her and I’ll be away for two weeks so I won’t be able to see you but don’t worry I will see you in July for a gigalso I was sick on 31 May and I couldn’t see you at the gig at that time as well so it’s a bit of a bummer but anyway I am better now

Wonderful song from one of Australia's all time favourite singers. My research revealed Hans travels and his health issues (stroke and csncer) but it did not disclose any wife, partner or children. Are the people in the photos of this great clip partners, wives, children or grandchildren? Interested to know what support he had in his later years.

When Wendy Stapleton and I went to interview Hans, he mentioned this song and had a friend send me a copy. I asked facebook friends and families to send me photos of people they'd like to remember without telling them why, and I think most were pleasantly surprised to see them featured in this wonderful song. Hans is at the end with a photo of his mother. Hans had an estranged partner when he fell ill, and a daughter Lani who lives in the US. He also had a tight little group of friends who encircled him in Australia and made sure he never felt alone. The times we visited him he was a happy man, with a vivid memory, and content with his life. You can find his interview on youtube under Wrokdown - Hans Poulsen.

@wrokdown Thank you for your quick response and the thoroughness of the information. Very pleased he had a good core group of loyal supporters and that he was at peace and happy in his later years.
