Great video Parellel especially at Thanet Parkway where speakers are good quality and clear and of course peak times as you know is the best time to do recordings as off peak is just HS and interesting they use chimes for Jack on each annoucement.

great video! interesting that LNER Anne has the same delay/cancellation script as SWR (the xx:xx <TOC> service to <destination> has been cancelled/is delayed by approximately <duration> minutes. this is due to <reason>. we're sorry that your journey will take longer than planned). also what station will you do next?

@@Parallel395 oh. i would've suggested BCZ as there aren't many videos of announcements there. when i last went, anne was only doing fast trains on platforms 3 and 4 and matt in the toilets on platforms 1 and 2, however he was only announcing northbound services

@@Parallel395 No worries, Truro station have changed their announcements a bit Falmouth platform use to have two one with the calling point and the other departure but now both do calling points not sure if 2 and 3 are 3 announcements per train or two. GWR have changed their stand clear screens as well. Again! Clapham junction are starting to install the new infotec screens replacing some Ferrograph displays making Guildford and Earls Field the last two stations to have the old Ferrograph displays.

This is a reverse situation to e.g. London Underground lines except Central's modernised trainsets and Piccadilly, where, in case of latter, it's announced completely by Julie Berry, the same voice as voice of Southern, in which male voice is main voice and female voice is used to additional announcements like "See it, say it, sorted" one, "Mind the gap", etc.

I went on TPE on Monday whilst visiting Manchester from Sheffield. I gotten two advance 1st class tickets for only £13.40. The price was low due to me buying the tickets over a month in advance and Manchester is quite close to Sheffield. Only 50+ minutes away.
