I didn’t play the game long for 2 reasons: 1. Ttk (time to kill) was very short. I prefer Halo 1-3 ttk. If shot in the back, you can turn around and still win that fight. Any game where “first shot, wins” is generally a hard “no” from me. 2. Map design was atrocious. The game modes are built for speed, but none of the maps are. The maps don’t flow at all, none of the paths make much sense and wind around too much, and it isn’t immediately obvious to new players how to reach the highlighted objectives. The game needs to get the basics down first before it does anything else. I played 12 games of various modes and “weight classes” and even when I won the two games I did… it didn’t feel fun. It felt like mostly luck. I didn’t feel skilled or smart. Which… not a great way to make your game feel to players. Short ttk would imply you want fast and frenetic games. Map size and design implies you want a slow game due to winding paths, blocked sight lines, and very large maps. The game is at odds with itself.

I like the style of your videos, but I would suggest to move the mic closer to yourself. Also putting more stuff into your room (curtains, carperts ect.) while recording would absorb the reverb and roomy feel of your audio. If you're recording audio via your camera without an external mic, you could put your phone near to yourself and record audio with your phone.

Get rid of the Cheaters AND also a QUITTER'S. Two things that make Finals not fun too play, although its has very good potential!!

I can't wait till Fromsoft stops riffing off of Souls. :( Dark Souls is my favorite game, but I feel as though they're becoming a one-trick pony. To the point where I can't even enjoy ER because it feels so samey compared to everything that has come before. Yeah I'm a little disillusioned with my ex-fav game studio. At least they gave us new Armored Core.

i really like all your ideas especially the Kaiju battle and the tornado. I think the most under used part of the finals is the stadium events, so many of them do literally nothing like the alien invasion and the retro invasion. The meteorites barely affect anything i can count on one hand the amount of times they've actually changed the game in some way. I think a tornado or a giant monster ripping through the map would be so fun and fits the aesthetic of the game perfectly! amazing ideas btw

And this guy doesn’t get paid by embark doesn’t work for them but is, and like many others seemingly the only ones that want to keep this game alive and thriving. The medieval idea is too fucking good not to add next season, especially when you have that wickedly good ost in the background.

Its rare to see an indie developer so utterly out of touch with their community. Embark has dropped the ball so hard on this game. They know they did to, which is why they pivoted from F2P with Arc Raiders. But at the same time, I'd likely never pay for an Embark game. Studio has serious management issues.

Instead of three classes make it a slider from say 150-350 where for example at 300 you are inbetween heavy and medium and could use weapons like cl40 but also use stuff like the deagles. Your size, speed and specializations would also change depending on health. (other example is at 200 hp you could use the xp but also akm but no cl40 or v9s as for those you need a lower hp.

what about a protect the president mode where you have one player in a team of 5-10 and you have to protect them so they dont die. They have 500 hp but cant heal, and you only score by killing the other president.

Cheaters; awful netcode/server stability; poor matchmaking. Those are the things which are holding the game back. Anything else added or changed will be completely superfluous, until those 3 are remedied.

The health bridge would be absolute abismal, but other than that, good ideas. Althought the rocket jump would significantly alter heavy's weakness of being slow, which is a core counterbalance to its health and arsenal. Good vid tho!

Every suggestion to help the lights is a bad Idea. They are already op. Adding health would make them almost unkillable all of there guns do more damage than pretty much any other weapon in the game and they are faster than every other player. The lower health helps balance that out. Imagine having a gun fight with them and losing because they have 50 additional health. You start winning the fight then bam they dash to the side and finish you it would make the game unplayable as any other character.

A few of the things you are mentioning have actually been in the game before! For example, a recon dart. Medium used to have a recon ability that would scan for players around them but it was so broken. Also I like the idea for new in-game events. I kinda want them to bring back the "dead go boom" event. It was a bit annoying but also really funnny and it brought a ton of chaos.
