I actually LOVE the rocket jumping idea. Not only would it make the RPG more interesting (to me at least) but it would give the CL-40 more usage in game and give it more utility, which medium specializes in.

i really like all your ideas especially the Kaiju battle and the tornado. I think the most under used part of the finals is the stadium events, so many of them do literally nothing like the alien invasion and the retro invasion. The meteorites barely affect anything i can count on one hand the amount of times they've actually changed the game in some way. I think a tornado or a giant monster ripping through the map would be so fun and fits the aesthetic of the game perfectly! amazing ideas btw

Not horrible ideas, but before we add gamemodes and maps we should focus on the Net Code to support the large player count and also stability as well as working on the side of anti-cheat.

Maybe have a permanent damage reduction armor in all game modes untill you reach, for exp, lvl 10 in your account, right before you unlock ranked, the damage reduction could be less effective the higher the lvl. This way you can have new players be playing against veteran players and still have a chance to win.

The only idea that I have full disagreement with was the health change. If new players want to come in and play a light. They need to play a light. If they want to run in fast, and be able to go toe to toe, those are opposite ends of the spectrum. Getting both DOES erase classes and roles. Lights shouldn't get shields and heavies shouldn't get insane movement. This leads to the second L that I didn't think of until now. Heavies with rocket jumps would be fun, but it would erase mediums and lights forever again by tying the opposite ends of the spectrum together. You get to either engage and disengage freely like a light or you get to be able to survive longer engagements like a heavy. That said, lights can and mediums can be dying in 2-3 shots even by lights. So, the HP only makes a difference when fights have distance to them. Other ideas should be talked about whenever, and like you said, not taking any idea too seriously. -FronicsOneFan

what about a protect the president mode where you have one player in a team of 5-10 and you have to protect them so they dont die. They have 500 hp but cant heal, and you only score by killing the other president.

The health bridge would be absolute abismal, but other than that, good ideas. Althought the rocket jump would significantly alter heavy's weakness of being slow, which is a core counterbalance to its health and arsenal. Good vid tho!

A few of the things you are mentioning have actually been in the game before! For example, a recon dart. Medium used to have a recon ability that would scan for players around them but it was so broken. Also I like the idea for new in-game events. I kinda want them to bring back the "dead go boom" event. It was a bit annoying but also really funnny and it brought a ton of chaos.

I like the style of your videos, but I would suggest to move the mic closer to yourself. Also putting more stuff into your room (curtains, carperts ect.) while recording would absorb the reverb and roomy feel of your audio. If you're recording audio via your camera without an external mic, you could put your phone near to yourself and record audio with your phone.

Instead of three classes make it a slider from say 150-350 where for example at 300 you are inbetween heavy and medium and could use weapons like cl40 but also use stuff like the deagles. Your size, speed and specializations would also change depending on health. (other example is at 200 hp you could use the xp but also akm but no cl40 or v9s as for those you need a lower hp.

I agree with all EXCEPT WTF CHANGE HEALTH ON CLASSES? It’s one of the things that makes this game amazing. Keep everything as is, add more modes. And I think most importantly: add a mode with no lights for the newbies. I think this would make it easier for new players to see what it’s all about. Which is teamwork and not being stabbed in the back by someone invisible. I love lights and how they work, but most new players do not.

Every suggestion to help the lights is a bad Idea. They are already op. Adding health would make them almost unkillable all of there guns do more damage than pretty much any other weapon in the game and they are faster than every other player. The lower health helps balance that out. Imagine having a gun fight with them and losing because they have 50 additional health. You start winning the fight then bam they dash to the side and finish you it would make the game unplayable as any other character.

They know they did to, which is why they pivoted from F2P with Arc Raiders. But at the same time, I'd likely never pay for an Embark game. Studio has serious management issues.
