What a lot of people don't know about some sections of rastafarianism, is that they worship a dead Ethipoian emperor as a black messiah, they reject and put down Jesus Messiah, who our founding fathers made the God of Jamaica, and preach black Supremacy over other ethnicities of people. Even Bob Marley did not die a rasta, the year before he died he got baptized through the Ethiopian Orthodox church and called on Jesus, which no Rasta in their right mind would do. Because he recognized close to his death who his true hope was. Maybe these country Rastas are more simple and don't go into those negative doctrines, but many rastas I've talked to unfortunately preach these very negative ungodly things. They don't really read the whole Bible and understand it, just pick out pieces and do what they want with it. It's very disrespectful to God and they need to repent of it. Other than that, I always appreciate that they try to eat and live very healthy and live closer to Nature. That part I will take.
