never born in the wrong place. if something wasnt wrong with where you were born theres no reason for your being born. Thats good i think. one of gods blessings is something to do and make better. make yourself pure. you can be pure anywhere. daniel in the lions den. daniel did not give himself to impurity even though he was in the literal jaws of death. make yourself better. make the world better. if this is the life and the wisdom you love, show it. who have you shared it with?

maybe it's seeing something similar while growing up in my native Trinidad , but seeing Rastas - men women and children- living like this touches my heart so much. Something about it is romantic, to say the least.
@lloydyherbal8 жыл бұрын
+Ato Cox living side by side, symbiotically with nature is how things should be!!!! Romantic yes...and real too...and sustainable. Modern living in concrete cities is an abomination of the natural world.

I agree with you 100%. I love to watch how they live. My father is Rasta, but England raised! This always makes me feel like I should have been raised in the mountains of Jamaica.

Ato Cox Trust me it's not, it's heartbreaking 😢 I went to Jamaica when I was a kid and I have relatives living in harsh conditions. 💩💩💩 But yeah, there were also some rastas in the middle of a field, in an area surrounded by "jungle", in the middle of nowhere, drinking what we'd call aloe vera and putting in their hair.

Outstanding mini doc my man, what makes this special is you took your time to shoot the environment great and small, quiet and loud, and finally the human element. talking to Rastas you always wind up in a cool and deep conversation full of positivity. next time you go do one of these I would like to shoot some b roll , Ive been wanting to do a documentary or the blue mountains for a long time. Respect

I’m 67 years old and disabled. It’s too late for me to go anywhere now. So I’m determined to bring a little bit of the Jamaican lifestyle, as I understand it, to my world. Not the trappings, the behavior. I discovered it too late to make the change by going there, no reason not to try to bring some of it here. I grow some of my own food, I try to eat Ital and I try to be kind and tolerant of everyone. I try to keep life simple, keep a sense of wonder and humor and remain thoughtful about life and my place in it. The shamanistic use of herbs helps me understand and stay my course. Bless up y’all.

I had to give this another spin. . . .and hope that other people do the same . . . there is no truth better LOVE and PEACE. Sorry for speaking out of turn but a lot of people in BRITAIN saw Bob as an excuse to smoke cannabis without knowing what he was actually trying to share with us. Living this life is a pleasure . . . peace and harmony . . . your video brought tears and a smile to my face at the same time. Thank you for the share. Bless. x

My wife and I just came back from there. Really simple life way up there. It takes hours of tight, treacherous turns to reach the peak. There are tiny shacks scattered along the roads. Our guide explained that these are where people sell food and other items. We really loved the people and I admire them. We will return some day but I have to admit, this is not a life for just anyone.

I'd rather try living the lifestyle in my native land, for that would symbolize true independence to me. Although the northern realm is materially demanding, making ascetic lifestyle a constant labour just to make through the year. But people do that and they've done so far longer than with modern conventions. Anyways, sincere support for your inspirations, stand strong! Bless
