Do you have a tab for this? The video makes it so I can't really see what your playing
@FrankieCommans4 ай бұрын
Ahoy, mate. I can work on putting some tab together for this one. I'll post here again with a link once it's done.
@FrankieCommans4 ай бұрын
Alright...you'll find the tab here, mate - drive.google.com/drive/folders/1nYDRj2lQ7dFNghBc5N6QTpjPqyUHyjEM?usp=sharing - I didn't tab out the solo as I learned it about 5 minutes before shooting this video but, if I get more time, I'll update the tab with it. Cheers and enjoy!

@@FrankieCommans0:22 when your doing like the 7,6,5 ,6 and 7,5,4,5 your moving your hand so its easier whats fingers you moving?
@FrankieCommans4 ай бұрын
@@user-ge6kv6ks1u - My ring finger stays on the 7 and my middle and index fingers switch between the 6,5,6 and the 5,4,5. It's a little bit of a stretch for the 5,4,5 part but, I had the pleasure of seeing them live once and John played it that way. It's one of those eye-opening moments for me as a young guitarist. I hope that helps you, mate. PLAY ON! 🤘🏽😎

think the songwriter/singer/guitarist died of cancer is why it stopped after the second album, some of the other guys in the band went on to work in other ways in the music business

Cheers, my friend! I played a few PRS models before settling on this one. It has a great mid-range "growl" that just works with crunch tones.

Great video. I love the song. It really chugs. I wonder if you could do "The Break" from Exit The Dragon." That song has some good, Stones-like riffs in it.

Great job. I liked how you kept the strum on the d and g chords instead of the one two up and down like on the original recording. It gave it a cool more Rock & Roll sound but still gogoish. It sad knowing the band was going through there worst time during the recording of talk show but I still think it's a great album.

This an excellent tutorial Frankie! Many thanks. I have a question regarding the tapped harmonic intro. When I listen to the song I hear it start with the D6 note but then it sounds like he also starts with a slightly different note a few times as well. It sounds slightly lower to me than the D6. Am I imagining this?
