Great video. I love the song. It really chugs. I wonder if you could do "The Break" from Exit The Dragon." That song has some good, Stones-like riffs in it.

Sister Havana is off their Saturation album. The follow-up album, Exit The Dragon is a wonderful dark combination of pop sensibilities and dissonance... The broke up for a while, did a nice album called Rock n Roll Submarine about 10 years ago, and it's looking like they got back together during quarantine and have new music coming out Check out their version of the Star Spangled Banner, done for the movie Kingpin Great job here... Thank you

Great video. Great tone and video framing! Some federal agents came to my door asking me why I'm receiving letters addressed to "the supreme ruler of the universe". I offered them some kool-aid and everything is ok now.

Cheers, my friend! I played a few PRS models before settling on this one. It has a great mid-range "growl" that just works with crunch tones.

Chigago produced very good music while seatle got the hype. Awsome stuff

Truth! Chicago was hotter than Seattle IMHO. Pumpkins, Urge, Material Issue, Liz Phair, WILCO, tons of great bands.

This is great stuff man! Thank you for posting this! Love this song. By any chance did you make any tabs for this song?

Frankie, dig into all their albums. Their EP, Stull, when they moved up to the big leagues, is brilliant and has a famous cover Tarantino used in one of his films.

Great lesson !! Side question; how did you make your main pic with a buncha you sitting on the couch! I would like to do one like that of me!
@FrankieCommans Жыл бұрын
Hey Charles. Sorry for the late reply. I'm just starting to get back into making more content. For the photo, I put my camera on a tripod and had the remote flash in my hand. I sat in one position, snapped a photo, moved, snapped another, etc. The big trick here is to make sure the lighting conditions stay the same throughout the series of photos. Then I brought each one into Photoshop as it's own layer and then used the "erase" tool to "draw" myself into the top layer photo. Hope that makes sense and helps you mate!

Hey Michael. Sorry for the late reply. I'm just starting to get back into making more content. I used a preset and IR from 3 Sigma Audio @3sigmaaudio - Helix Preset - Twin Lead - from the Boutique Classics preset bundle - 3 Sigma IR - BC212 Warm 5A

Awesome, what affects are you using? Sounds like obvioslusly distortion and chorus, anything else?

Hey mate! Sorry for the late reply. I'm just starting to get back into making more content. I'm running into a Line 6 Helix and then straight to the mixing console. On the Helix, I just made some custom tones that I thought would work best for the instruction.

I hear quite a bit of reverb. And obvious long delay with feedback, at least 400ms.
@AngelMartinez-qs3cf3 жыл бұрын
What speakers are using with the Line 6?
@FrankieCommans Жыл бұрын
Hey Angel. Sorry for the late reply. I'm just starting to get back into making more content. I'm not using speakers here. I'm running my guitar into my Helix and from my Helix I go straight into the Presonus Series III board which is feeding all the audio to my laptop. Then I drop the audio from the camera and replace it with the recorded audio. Hope that helps, mate!
