Wait am I hearing this correctly? They are just enhancing the penalty, so they still need to catch people doing it. This isn’t really any better if they aren’t doing anything about cheating devices and that is significantly easier to see, how am I to be confident that they will catch and ban people using M&K. This seems like they are just hoping when people see this, they will simply stop using M&K.

There are lots of people playing like this. They are not banned and say they are legit.

So the problem with this is it’s a free to play game. People just create a new account and all of the sudden a gold 500 player gets done up by a bronze 12. Ban the console, not the player tag.

Microsoft can 'brick' consoles easily if they are inclinded to do so. I remember Halo being exploited and consoles being bricked over 10 years ago. I hope this happens, as I feel a time ban is nothing to a scumbag cheater. Surely Krafton can simply look at input time and use algorithms to insta-ban accounts. Average sniper should look at the Chronus knee-slide expolit thats rife on PUBG console. A combination of buttons have to be pressed, all at the same time to trigger it, impossible by hand alone, and yet there are guys sliding around and shooting in every match. I challenge cheaeters and get the usual 'get gud' or 'just practice' but when i ask them to send me a clip of how to slide, or a link on how to it never comes, because they're cheating, they know it, we know it, everyone knows it.

My buddy on PS was reported for teaming and got banned for 30 days. Even that it wasn’t his fault he jumped into an enemies vehicle with another random and killed the guy and got reported 😂 he got a medal for it

Continued nonsense by Krafton. Instead of allowing everyone a free choice and introducing a cross platform, they decisively destroy the game. An example of them can be Fortnite.

I remember playing Halo and you had the option to boot people who team killed you. How about they let the player base do the banning. They could have a notification when you die that says MNK detected and gives you the option to ban. Since they dont have the heart to ban cheaters let the legit player base do it!

I'm confused! Surely its the players choice of what input device they use? I see PC players using a controller. I only play PUBG on console and even then, very rarely at all as I'm generally useless as PUBG, I usually get killed by the Bots, let alone other players, but i have tried both K/M and controller. I found the game quite difficult to play on controller, and easier to navigate the functions on K/M. Is PUBG open platform? As if it is, why should console players be put against PC players who may have an advantage? Genuine questions, as i genuinely don't understand.

I got banned for 100 years this morning for having a usb stick in my ps5 . Was playing all the years with controler. It can only be the usb stick that caused it. But its a cheap usb data stick that i tried for more space but it didnt work. But i never took it out

So, they aren't stopping it because they can't, but they are coming out saying publicly that it's cheating? Big deal. People will still use the M&K... doesn't matter if PUB is saying it's cheating; they can't stop it.

In all honesty, Xim made pubg too easy and that was one of the things that attracted me to pubg in the first place. Rip console users once the UE5 port goes live. This won't fix a damn thing because xbox allows it lol. Just like banning "3rd party programs" does not stop the massive amounts of script users that plague this game and console. Xbox needs to step their game up if they truly want to stop cheaters. They could if they were not afraid of losing money

95% of players use some sort of cheat or advantage. They need battle beaver controllers with paddles in the back. Am I the only player with an original Xbox controller

its only cheating if console doesn't have aim assist for controlers, aim assist should never be included against OG mouse and keyboard players IE cross platform

as with a lot of the complaints towards pubg, i think they are all copium .. i play fortnite regularly where crossplay between all types of controllers & pc is available. same with warzone. pubg players should stop focusing on exterior reasons for why they aren’t seeing better personal performance & train their game sense & aim more often without blaming 10 different reasons as to why they don’t win.

am i crazy? there is nothing in this statement that says they've developed or implemented anything to combat this. they say that KB&M is a bannable offense, and will increase the punishment for it. that's it.

Now, if PUBG would just acknowledge the shitloads of cheats being used on PC. They vastly underreport the real numbers of cheaters.
