Are these the Roll EZ wheels from eBay? I am about to drop the big bucks on their double roller-bearing axles, I'd rather spend that money on more rolling stock but the plastic wheel sets just aren't cutting it after all these years.
@JooFerenc9 ай бұрын
Yes the same but just get the plain metal wheels and you'll be OK! You really only need the roller bearing ones for R1 curves on 2-axle stock.
@rockguitarist9319 ай бұрын
@@JooFerenc How easy are they to install? The description on eBay says "some modification may be necessary" but it also says "totally compatible with all G scale cars".
@JooFerenc9 ай бұрын
@@rockguitarist931 just pop out old wheelset, pop in new. Diameter may be little less than LGB or Aristo wheelsets. On some cars brakeshoes may touch wheel and car may be little lower but usually not a problem unless you use body mount Kadee couplers and pay extreme attention. I never had a problem.

You can programme with any DCC programmer but you need to know which CVs do what. The Phoenix programmer is great and helps a lot. It's not too expensive either.

Good video. Shame Rubble's tours have no food and drink. It makes a tour to combine different pleasures. Having a meal with mates, or a beer with a mate adds extra pleasure. Especially if you have a medical condition that requires food with medicine. Not as good as the tours run from Budapest ! Did one tour with Rubble to Alaska. He promised to do all tracks, yet there was Anchorage Airport and two stations at Skagway we missed. Hungarians run far better tours.

The northern side of Lake Balaton is nicer so I can see why you chose to do it (that and the fact, it goes passed your house). Great railfan event. Nice that MAV lay on this sort of event. I really like Hungary and the Hungarian people. Good food. Good wines. Good beer. Great trains. Awful purple soup. LOL !

Oh yuck, it's a kart ! Sounds like a road bus and has a mechanical gearbox. Preserved to show future people how NOT to travel. A DMU power car can operate independently, but that does not make this mobile parcel van a loco. Brings me out in a rash, that can only be cured with two doses of purple soup for ritual internal cleansing. The downside is it welds your behind to a seat with a hole in the middle for four days and four nights, despite six boxes of Imodium. I am still undergoing trauma counselling for that event. Regards from London England.

M62 265 is 'required ' ! Sadly two doses of purple soup stopped me accepting a cabride on 628 116, that was kindly offered. But I did get 628 191 and 628 518 (Soviet Gauge) thanks to a very kind soul.
