Rhys Clark!! he is so underrated! he MADE those songs what they were. phenomenal on Billy The Kid. just watch it, it's a drumming masterclass.

Thank you for posting this! Couldn’t find it on Spotify. Wore out my Maxell XL II cassette copy-of-a-copy many years ago. Part of the soundtrack of my (not so) “sweet romantic teenage nights.”

I wonder if Billy's mustache at that time was at all James Taylor inspired.

I was at this concert. At the time Glass Houses was the #1 album and It’s still rock and to me was the #1 song.

50:12 woah, Russel Javors and Doug Stegmeyer were playing with him here? They didn't record on Storm Front so when did they get cut from playing live?

20:40 he says he "towers over" Paul Simon but Billy Joel is a shortie himself lol

Take from a 5' woman... when you're a shortie and you finally have a shorter friend, it feels like you tower over them.

I’m living for the moment someone posts footage of Billy playing this song live. Would love seeing him performing

A little faster than the album version, but sounds good. I'm pretty sure he rarely played it live.

I went to the first show at the Stadium. The prelude to "My Life" was the Yankees radio theme song. Being both a Yankees and Billy Joel fan I considered this segment the best part of the concert.

I was at this concert. Still have the ticket stubs….It was fantastic of course❤ And my husband, of just 3 months, and I drove in from San Antonio to see him. I remember telling him that Billy Joel was the only man I would ever leave him for. We’re still married. 42 years later❤

I attended this concert in June 1980 at age 19 during the Glass Houses tour. He drank a Heineken and played with the lift lines at times and sang to all directions greeting the fans and he shut off the light for a few seconds when he sang "turn out the lights" during "You May Be Right" which was my favorite song of the album. Yes, and I used to copy the jeans and sneakers while wearing a sports jacket and a tie. Really cool, I felt.

great song. I can see this being belted out on stage in a Broadway Musical. Could be the theme for the Billy Joel Movie - When's that happening? What a classic New York Story.

Never knew that a Billy Joel cover of Every Breath You Take with Allentown sound effects was even possible. I so wish that he had released a cover album, especially before his voice deepened.

Saw Billy twice in Salt Lake in 1976: July at the U of U Special Events Center (now called the Huntsman Center) and in November at the Terrace Ballroom in downtown SLC, which was a smaller venue (maybe 2,000 compared to over 10,000 at the U of U). Very similar show to this. Lots of fun.
