Had no idea this show circulates in full. Would love a copy of my own. Bummer about the handful songs that are from a (clearly) inferior source. Wonder why not all the songs got captured on the better tape? Apart from those, this sounds pretty great. Nice to hear the real thing compared to the hack job of the new live album. Such a great live performer, so many bungled live albums. Why can't Sony just put these shows out as they happened? No studio tinkering, no rearranging the setlist, etc!

SME made the mistake of not releasing the entire proshot footage of both nights on separate DVD's. Especially disappointed that they didn't even think of releasing the second show uncut. Speaking of footage, I did find a youtube video of proshot footage of 1:02 of Only The Good Die Young from the first show and camcorder footage of Goodnight Saigon in it's entirety. Three things. 1- What a great recording. I dare say better and fresher than the new release, and the complete show! 2-While a great show and recording and thirty years on, the current band is far superior, much tighter. 3- Thank you for all of your postings, they are amazing and they keep the the Billy energy going, really appreciate your efforts. 🙏🏽

The official release is a disappointment. Why would they change the order of the songs?? And the drums sound awful in the official release. AND Shout is not on the cd? Between the drums sounding bad & the exclusion of Shout, it's a slight at Liberty! Even the photo of him in the booklet is a bad shot!

I completely agree with you!! they messed it up, changing the order and cutting songs like putting the glass intro for You May Be Right at the end of An Innocent Man, and yeah they changed the drums sound, and YES idk why they didn’t put Shout on the CD. Some songs from the official CD release comes from this night, you can compare, i’m gonna upload the same official release but in the right order, also i’ll try to upload the film but don’t expect that because of copyright.
