I really love this video!!! I had this song in my head recently after hearing it once YEARS ago and this was the first vid that came up when I searched it on youtube! I've watched it so many times now, your art is seriously awesome and it makes me want to learn how to animate! Thank you for sharing!

I pray to any deity listening that the full length feature that CR teased in their recent Rolling Stone interview is a Calamity movie. And I hope they give you a job storyboarding.

The sobby relief at the end from all the players when Cerrit made it. It was just nice for one little moment so many of us had that same reaction watching this premiere.

Cerrit was my absolute favorite character in Calamity. The fact he got to survive and reunite with his family was the perfect way those episodes could have ended. And this animation captures that beauty perfectly.

Wow, you really nailed this! The sprint-flying, the crashing action with no sound, the bursting through the clouds, perfect, all of what I pictured in my head when I listened to this. Well done!

This is quite simply a Goddamned Masterpiece. The source material is some of the most perfect storytelling I've ever seen, but this animatic still punctuates and polishes that gem on its own.

The fact after ALL OF THAT, Beau failed her perception check and just saw vague shapes and Nott's gun alerted tons of Wolves to their location. Can't take these two anywhere.

I know in a lot of fiction characters we can assume are pretty much barbarians often get pretty cool scenes, but to me they tend to feel quite hollow; as the only thing it showcases is their physical strength. This scene here is exactly why I love barbarian characters so much. It's not about strength, it's about survival. A barbarian survives in the face of things that should have killed them, they get back up from wounds that are half as deep as they should be. They're intimidating because they harness their mindless anger, their rage, to stand up where everyone else would have crumbled. And their anger is always personal. I know it's probably not a thing that's as common as it seems, but barbarians in media are very often two-dimensional, yet the fact that the very character type requires something as deeply personal as anger to even function is testament to, in my opinion, how deep a barbarian style character should be. Amethar, as much as I don't really like his choices nor his character, I do still truly appreciate; he is a showcase of a barbarian with depth, of a character that feels immensely deeply, who is, in all he is, in a way so too honest for this entire setting. He displays intelligence that is unconnected to books, secrecy and manipulation, and in that I think he displays the strength of a barbarian character. As much as I think Amethar is an idiot, he is an idiot that I like despite his flaws.
