Bam is capable of averaging 25 and 10 a night, but he is also tasked with defending the entire opposing team as well, you have to give him some defensive help if he's going to score more

If we want to see Bam 27 and 10 (which he can absolutely do) he needs to play with Ware next to him. There is no way Bam can average those numbers on offense while also have all the responsibility on defense. Too much for one guy to handle.

This is a an 8th-9th at best. We no longer have a super star on this team, ans Bam is not that offensive player, Bam is going to struggle to ever reach 25ppg let alone 27ppg, his offensive numbers and stats tell a story hes not that good at scoring.

Lmao, in Miami Heat history no player at 35 years old or older has averaged more than 15ppg and that was Wade. Then followed by Shaq at 14ppg. Jimmy is not avereging 22ppg, come on, we saw his drop last year.

@@Dizzelsoul3542 shooting less than 1 three pointer per game does not move the needle, he isn't a volume shooter so having a great 3p% means nothing other than less than half a point to his overall ppg. He would need to fire off at least 4-5 3's per game to raise his ppg value tangibly more than percentages. Jimmy also lead the league by a wide margin in free throw rate, to even eclipse James Hardens best years, which is why he has a high ppg vs FG attempts, as weve starting seeing, refs are calling less and less on him, and hes losing his speed, athletism he had his most shots block by almost double last year, if the trend continues expected drop in ppg is going to seen. Unless Jimmy has a higher usage rate this year, and shoots more threes at higher volumn I don't forsee him breaking 20ppg at the end of the season.

@@Dizzelsoul3542 I would be surprised, although as a heat fan much welcomed if I get to eat crow. In the end it is uncommon and even unheard of for older players to improve in scoring volume and efficiency both those things go down as players age, select few get more efficient but at a low usage and attempts never both. Every analytic analysis goes against him entering his 35 year old career.

With all of the experience from team usa and watching his peers be the first option on title contending teams, im pretty sure hes going to be on a mission this season. Also hes made it clear he wants that supermax so he has plenty of incentives to try and become a first option. He has the potential to become top 10-15 in the league since hes already a two way menace with his defense. His offensive game just needs a leap

JJJ started in a playoff series? We got routed 4 games to 1. Our team is too small. JJJ is good but makes them smaller and his D is ok at best. Towards the end of the season opposing teams figured him out and were blocking his shots when he drove to the rim. Miami needs to fast track Ware and start him as soon as possible so we can try and compete against all the other teams in the East that have made their rosters better again.
