I often find going dangerously low with the tire pressures gets me out of such situations. You do have to do it before you've dug yourself a deep hole. I'm talking 4psi. At slow speeds you shouldn't lose the bead, but you do need to air back up as soon as you're unstuck.

I heard if you lift a Subaru with eyesight on board, it messes up the communication with the camera and the road is that true and if so, how do you fix that?

It absolutely does not. Or I should say, if it does, it's to a degree that is unnoticeable. I had 3" of lift on my '21 Crosstrek Sport, and the eyesight/navigation etc worked perfectly.

@ You can go bigger, but to avoid any rubbing and keeping the sporty feel I was running 215/75R15 BFG KM3 and then later Yokohama Geolandar MT if you like the aggressive look and capability.

Hi I'm wondering how did you get the wheels spin when got stuck? I have a 2022 Outback. When it's got bogged badly, the VDC was turned off, but the wheels simply do not spin at all. What's your settings please?

That's what X-Mode 2 is for, if your car only has X-Mode 1 it won't allow for tire spin since it's looking for traction. X-Mode 2 is for deep snow and mud and allows for wheel spin up to 25mph, unless you had a Wilderness, then there is no speed cap on X-Mode 2.

what's with the squeaking at the end as you drove away? is that your lift? bushings? Im looking into some added height, but not at a squeaky cost. that last few seconds reminded me of my '81 bronco with a 4" lift that i beat the crap out of for 20 some years. it sounded like that. Please, if you know what the sound was, and it's something silly, please let me know. otherwise, im going a different direction.

The sound at the end was the grass on the road hitting the bottom of the car, my Crosstrek never had a squeak. It does sound like a squeak though, lol!

I like the video. I have a 2021 with 1.5" lift (Anderson Design). I looked into Bassett wheels. How are they on the highway as I probably do just as much highway as offroad. Offroad , these things are great . I also just saw a Trek , no lift , with 225 65 r17s. Looked pretty sharp !

I have an 06 nismo offroad frontier. Our setup is very similar. Same coastal off-road bumper and auxbeam panel. Even mounted in the same spots. Very cool to see. Keep the content coming!

Great video! I found a 2024 with 14k miles I'm buying which I'll upgrade with all the hardware you're using including the complete suspension kit with radius arms and underbody protection. I have a 2022 Power Wagon with 37's, all King Carli Pintop suspension, GoFastKampers setup, built in ARB dual air compressor, 15k winch, locking front and rear axles, disconnecting sway bar, the whole works. I'll get the locking rear axle kit did you? I wouldn't go out in the sand without it., that's for sure. I will get a winch but I have zero idea how to make that work. Anyway, keep at it, I'm following your lead for the most part Wade.

Hi! I have in my 2016 the Rallitek Bilstein B8 3" lift kit with the K02. That's a total of about 3.5-4" lift. How did you solve the axle angle change? Great video!

Was the traction control turned on or off when you were trying to get unstuck? I would probably turn it off in that situation if you have that option on that vehicle.
