scattered, smoothered, diced and chunked, well done for me. Waffle house is the only chain the knows what well done hash browns are supposed to look like. I ordered well done hashbrowns from ihop a few weeks ago and there was no color on them at all. Looked and tasted like raw potatoes nuked in the microwave.

Since reluctantly moving to Florida, Waffle House was one of the few things I liked about the state. I never told anyone until this episode aired on TV. Bourdain gave eating at Waffle House credibility.

If you don't order your hash browns with EVERYTHING on it including gravy and chili, you're missing out big-time!

I walked into a Waffle House in Memphis, TN one time off of the interstate. I swear to god there were a police officer, a construction worker, a sailor, and a biker sitting at the counter. I thought if there was an Indian there, they’d have the Village People.

Weather it be the French Laundry or Waffle House. Tony always seemed to be in the moment and TRULY interested in what was going on around him. Curiosity and engagement are two of the most important keys to life and he had both in spades. It's a shame he is no longer here to TRULY know how many people adored him and the REAL person he seemed to be . Go easy Tony

Went to a training class in Charleston and stayed in the hotel next to this waffle house ate there every day I was there.

Waffle House is an icon in our family in Pensacola, Florida. For years my dad would meet his buddies at the Waffle House for breakfast each morning at 6 am. He did this even after retiring up until 2005 when The hurricane hit and even took the concrete slab. By 2005 dad had dementia and for a year blame mom for moving his favorite place. Lol. Mom would smile her quiet smile. We could never get him to understand it was the hurricane so we let it go. To this day I cannot pass a Waffle House that I don’t choke up.

Definitely like the pecan waffle, however here in Wisconsin I can use our northern relative of the pecan, Shagbark hickory nuts which are a huge pain in the butt to shell compared to pecans but well worth it.

I never watched Bourdain while he was alive, so I don’t really get people’s infatuation with him. To me he just seems like another Hollywood reality show guy…those type are nothing like they appear on tv, and are nothing like average Americans. But you guys obviously disagree, so I’ve been giving him a chance watching him.. so I guess I’ll see

When I drive out of my neighborhood, there's a Waffle House right there across from a hospital. I go there often on a Saturday, sit at the counter, drink coffee, and have breakfast. Now my son goes there too when he's home from college. Nothing like it.
