So when Guthrie switches to the Am example. He doesn't just flatten the third, but he also replaces the sixth with the flat 7, right?

I definitely believe in clean sounds, just amp and guitar but I like that Halo and I’d like to buy one and use it just enough. They’re pricey though, gotta save for it. Guthrie, that reminds me of the song on your solo record w/Tom. I need to work on those triads.

Great lesson man! This is crucial to my development. I can do other things on the guitar, but not this, so I need to study the **** out of the video because I love your music. There's a ton of great advice in this one program that makes total sense. Very enlightening. Thank you GT!! Love you too dude.

Love the video love the sharing of your wisdom. I've been exercising the CAGED shaped just started with key of C... to the A shape G E D etc... just working on them for an hour then finding some C major backing tracks to practice over and ideas I've never had or saw before were starting to come off my fingers. In other words progress!!! Only this video showed me I did the Major Scale the Arpeggio and the Triads but didn't work on the Pentatonic shapes... Dam!! back to it... I'm sure it won't be hard though my fingers were always right there... Pentatonic is a 5 note scale I just have to recall which 5 notes lol.... When it gets fluent and comfortable in multiple keys I'll take on the Minor..Dom 7 Maj7 ..... I feel growth and change just doing the first stuff exponentially. I'm so grateful I stumbled upon yourself and Larry and Jedd etc. Thank you so much again. I'm all the way up in Canada and would love to find my way to Nashville to see you guys live and maybe even meet you. Keep doing what your doing !!!

Guthrie, I drove through Nashville twice this weekend - once on Friday, and once on Saturday. I was so disappointed that I wasn't able to get there Thursday night for your gig! You must have people coming from all over the world to see you now, thanks to your work on KZbin.

You couldn't be more right about being respectful when conversing with others. 90% of the problems in this world are because we don't listen. It's not hard. And I almost lost it when I saw Christmas trees in Costco before Labor day. You're the best

My dude, ever since we met at the cafe in February and I came to see you guys tear down the house that Monday night and I got to see how they fit a giant Rock God in a real man's human form, I've been enjoying your ride and adventures through these encapsulated story lessons. I get so much out of what your share and I want to give you a serious thanks for that. A hit to the tip jar! Keep up the great Telecasting.

Even a tired GT still flows all over the neck - lately I’m seeing the triads inside bigger chords then working on trying to be melodic and less predictable - really challenging but it’s good work.
