@@Mustang-Geek it’s the easy and cheap route. I’ve seen guys drop serious coin on a car only to neglect the details of the engine bay and put in corbeau seats. To do a factory interior the seat foams headliner front and back seat upholstery kit carpet and sun visors door panels carpet was well over 3000 dollars in materials. All in was 5 grand. It’s ok you went the cheap easy fast route.

I got a 93 fox and i had these with a off road hpipe and the stock tail pipes but it never sounded the same as my dads 95 cobra or even these. Can someone explain how i can get this sound.
@Mustang-Geek
@Mustang-Geek 11 күн бұрын
Very good question. I've noticed this myself. Not every Fox Mustang, even with the same parts, sounds the same. Consider that you're listening to your car *inside* it and your dad's is *outside,* Beyond that, there may be tolerances when the mufflers are made that makes them sound different? Also camshaft and ignition timing makes a big difference.

Did you have to put the engine in TDC on compression stroke specifically? This is exactly where I’m at. I got the cams back in and torqued down. They were installed in the neutral position. I used ALLDATA for my work, never mentioned anything about TDC when it came to this point of installation. Cannot find anything online.

i am in the middle of installing my holley terminator x max, i’m stuck. I watching the video which helped my question is i have the green wire that is for the fuel pump wired to the fuel pump at the relay under my front seat, i’m unclear on where to pick up my 12v switched wire from. and it looks like since i’m basically using a factory style coil i also need to get a relay and power the + side of my coil, why did you connect the green wire for fuel pump in the kick plate?
@Mustang-Geek
@Mustang-Geek Ай бұрын
I'm not sure if I totally understand your question. You can pick up a 12V switched wire anywhere, really. I connected the fuel pump wire in the kick panel because it was convenient and led to the OEM relay wiring under the seat. But, it seems like what you did will work just fine as well.

I will love to tell you the difference between hoarder and pack rat. You see how you got scrap metal, wires, and boxes neatly put into places, and are of great condition, that's a pack rat. A hoarder would also keep trash, like wrappers from food, rusty and britle junk, a coupon for a restaurant that went out of business 5 months ago and they still claim that another one will pop up, not to add to the fact that even if another one somehow gets out of bankruptcy and opens near us, the damn coupon would still be out of date, cause it was expired 3 years prior to closing. I want that coupon to be thrown out or burned so it's not staring at me in the kitchen every time I go to the fridge with half a functioning brain, getting my hopes up on a midnight snack run for a 2 for 5 double burgers with extra large fries and a medium drink!

Either you can buy them or make them. I chose to make Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer dressed up as Santa Claus with a lump of coal in his hand which was a piece of glass that was meant for one of those colorful fire pits and I had that since high school and that little metal piece was his belt buckle.😂 I had a bunch of teeny tiny little bells that I used as his hooves. And I had a ruined earbud headphones that I use as his face and straws for the arms and legs and a cat ball with a bell inside as his belly.😂 With fabric I had since the start of college because I was in fashion design.

I didn't keep it on, at it was too mild for me. In retrospect, it might work better without the Borla cat-back as I think the Borla ATAK cat-back still uses the mufflers to cancel out some of the howl...even with the valves open. I need to revisit this.

@@mojo7709 Since I only ran the valves "open" for the Flowmaster, I assume the Borla cat-back didn't affect the sound. But I could be mistaken. That's why I'd like to literally try a "muffler delete" axle-back with the Flowmaster to see if that has an affect.
