That saxophone player had no clue what he was doing with his out of tune self 😂. In other news, REGGIE IS THE ORIGINAL BASS BEAST

Look y'all, I get what y'all are saying about the sax, but they good; we can let em slide now. They wasn't _that_ off. Just a few notes here and there. They were keeping up. The flavor can come later. Lol

Too much slapping. Apparently he and other Bass players in a Gospel setting mostly in a predominantly African American Churches do this. As the late James Brown says "Stay in the pocket"!

Let the genre be the genre. Thank God your 1 in 6 billion opinion won’t change anything. Keep listening to Jameson and Motown. He was absolutely one of the most influential to ever pick up a bass but something you may not know is Jamerson stopped getting a lot of the first calls when slap started to make way in popular music because “that wasn’t his thing”. Go look up MonoNeon, research his vids talking about where he got started on bass. It was somethin like here in this vid. As far as “African American gospel players go” , trust me, most of the most influential musicians, singers, producers of the past 50 yrs came out of these black churches. How about jazz that came from blues which came from the black church. You made a clown comment. Corey Henry, Jahari Stampley, Sean Martin AND Sput Seawright (of snarky puppy), Bb king, Whitney Houston, Quincey Jones, Aretha Franklin, heard of any of these people? Well they’re all the people that “other groups” tried to emulate, and they all started in the “African American gospel churches”. You gotta be over 50. Smh

Yes. He definitely should’ve played that a lil longer. Just the band going and then the choir director bringing everything back in on a 1,2,3 count.
