For those of you who don’t know WHO your watching or WHAT your watching. That’s Ms Reggie Parker original bass guitar player of this song! The man behind this bass line. He is the original creator!

I don't think that's Jeff🤔 I believe he is the church drummer.
@rodneyskinnermusic2 жыл бұрын
@@kareemdixon4800 Its him, read his discography bro. He's been playing professionally with Hez & LFCC since 1995. God has blessed him with playing both the ministry and on albums. Read the album credits his resume speaks for itself.

@@rodneyskinnermusic Hear you Sir, but I'm very familiar with LFT seeing that Bishop Walker is very very close with my family.
@kareemdixon48002 жыл бұрын
Bishop Walker's original drummer was Gerald.
@rodneyskinnermusic2 жыл бұрын
@@kareemdixon4800 Gerald played on two albums for Bishop and the Choir "I'll Make It" 1985 & "Oh Lord We Praise You" 1991 after that he left to play with Teddy Riley's group "Guy" then Jason Hendrickson came in along with the late Jeff "Lo" Davis in 93 & 94 then in 95 Jeff Lez came in and been with choir ever since. All 3 of these guys are incredible and God has blessed them to do great things. I'm not trying to challenge you I'm just trying to inform you with facts from their resumes. I know as men we sometimes let our egos get the best of us which is what hinders us from learning something but when one is sharing legitimate facts you can choose to believe it or not believe. If you don't believe it that's totally fine. Blessings.

Too much slapping. Apparently he and other Bass players in a Gospel setting mostly in a predominantly African American Churches do this. As the late James Brown says "Stay in the pocket"!
@theshipissinkingno605618 күн бұрын
Let the genre be the genre. Thank God your 1 in 6 billion opinion won’t change anything. Keep listening to Jameson and Motown. He was absolutely one of the most influential to ever pick up a bass but something you may not know is Jamerson stopped getting a lot of the first calls when slap started to make way in popular music because “that wasn’t his thing”. Go look up MonoNeon, research his vids talking about where he got started on bass. It was somethin like here in this vid. As far as “African American gospel players go” , trust me, most of the most influential musicians, singers, producers of the past 50 yrs came out of these black churches. How about jazz that came from blues which came from the black church. You made a clown comment. Corey Henry, Jahari Stampley, Sean Martin AND Sput Seawright (of snarky puppy), Bb king, Whitney Houston, Quincey Jones, Aretha Franklin, heard of any of these people? Well they’re all the people that “other groups” tried to emulate, and they all started in the “African American gospel churches”. You gotta be over 50. Smh
