I have 4c hair Every time I get knotless braids my hair always frizzes out. Really annoying but when I get box braids they don’t do that. Does anyone know why

I like to do mine in a side pony tail or one big braid and two braids hanging in the front and one hanging on each side.

how do you keep your hair from showing through the braids? my hair is very curly naturally and by the second week the hair is sticking out from every braid. I have not washed my hair and I use spray in leave in conditioner to keep my hair hydrated.

My stylist has an assistant and she braids about half way down and the assistant finishes the section by braiding all the way down. When I tell you the braids only took 3 hours and they are fairly small. I think that this is definitely the only way I can get the smaller braids. I cannot sit in a chair past 4 hours. It just gets uncomfortable. When it’s just her I opt for another style.
