Within the first 90 seconds I saw a few things where I would have complained about the game again. Most notably though about the foresight slash at 1:21. It Dings and you can't get the counter in because the game says "Nope, I am too far away, but had you not used it, you would have been hit". Stupid game design. If it triggers the dodge, the counter should trigger too.

0:50 so that's why i wasn't counteringvwith foresight slash i never knew i needed a pixel of spirit gauge to actually counter i was wondering why I'm not getting a counter half the time even if i can visually tell that i timed it correctly I'm still new to the weapon.

I see so many things regarding foresight slash that just make my hair stand up. Being able to change the directions to turn your back to the monster should be an instant death but this is the way to do it here. I can't get my head around it. I constantly keep pressing W to have my char move and attack towards the camera, since I point it to where I want to hit. For me, the controls are the biggest enemy in this game. I get hit so many times because I am confused by what my character is doing, I can't even begin counting how many times I died because of that. I bought this game a week ago and I really can't get myself to solo anything and have fun at that.

can anyone point out to me the part of spirit reverse (release? i can't remember the name) slash where the actual hitbox comes out? it's like 400 swings and then it hits 2 seconds later so i can't put my finger on which swing i should be touching the monster with

@@princetj593 only works after a succesfull counter. Hit Spirit kombo R2 after connecting counter. Need spirit gauge.

Looks great, but for some reason it doesnt seem like you're hitting the monster. Feels like hitting the air. Hopefully they make it feel better, imo it was perfect in World and Rise.

Yea, but I am not sure if I kinda like it. Seems like a lightsaber cutting through butter. And with the new wound mechanics appearing I think it could work.
