That rat´s demise looked way to good to eventually be reduced to a fuzzy image on a tiny screen in the final product

I absolutely hate it when filmmakers like Fede Alvarez don't give respect to the VFX artists and claim that 'HURR DURR EVERYTHING PRACTICAL!'

@@hknil8966 Almost everything uses CGI as well. Which is ok, is a dumb take that "cgi looks fake". Fake VFX looks fake, no matter how its achieved.

The CGI is unbelievable stunning. Season 7 and especially 8 may had problems with the storytelling etc. But the CGI was absolutely stunning:)

Is the wing mesh single plane double sided poly or is there thickness to it? I am learning and from what I understand is animating 2 planes next to each other like the inside of a jacket vs outside or bottom of the wing and the top can have issues. So how do you give thickness to the webbing of the wings and not have issues with animation? Vertex from one side perching the other

Crazy to think they never had Tyrion or someone bring up the idea of putting saddles on the dragons. Just rawdogging the dragon at 1000 feet is CRAZY. it would’ve been so cool and a nice little subplot for Tyrion and Danny, at least HOTD got it right.

But why tho.. this was like7 years ago.. he could have done that last scene him self... why would the huge ending scene be done by a stuntman instead idk..

I said the same about Pixomondo's reel for the show ... the excessive dark moody lighting and bloomy color grading ruins / tarnishes many of the prior rendering results your company and Pixomondo delivered for the show. It's really unfortunate when other departments of a production you don't have influence over, decrease realism previously achieved.
