I'm learning doubleknit for a blanket. The twisting at the start of the row has been occupying all my energy. Thank you for showing an alternate approach!

It was horrible trying to tell exactly what you were doing in this tutorial.... When someone wants to learn how to make something, it needs to be much more spelled out step by step every detail. A lot of what you were doing wasn't even on camera, and you didn't say how many stitches in your rows ... 😕

I wish I would have seen this tutorial 10 years ago. I did that exact pinwheel pattern, and my sewing wasn't that great, but this technique is beautiful.

Thank you so much for making this! I hated how it was looking with the original pattern and kept frog stitching! You saved my blanket! Thank you!

I learned this technique from this video years ago, fell off knitting for a little while, forgot, and now I'm back to learn it again! Your demo is the best I've found.

Wow. This looks great but I’m not sure I can manage all those steps. I do hundreds of hats, I do have a seam line which is perfectly straight. I’m okay with that, as long as it’s straight. If it veers off then I’m bothered but I can fix it. This just confuses me but I will try it.

But how do you join them, is there a separate video for that or do we just wing it'!!!!!!

I love your take on this. Can someone assist with how many stitches are in each wedge please? I do not like the original Yarnspiration version but my daughter wants the blanket.

Thank you so much for providing such an elegant and straight forward technique. I've looked at other double knitting selvedge and they were so complicated. You instructions were clear and easy to follow. Brilliant!

I like this edge. I couldn't figure out how to do this from the video, but the description in the notes is very good. Extremely important to hold the pearling yarn at the back of the knitting such that it will cross the knitting yarn when it is pulled forward. Thank-you for the tip!

Thank you very much Lissa. I wonder what you do at the beginning of the magic ring. I mean, how you do the first stitch: 3 chains as the first one? I would also like to see your technic when it comes to join in the round when crocheting with single stitch. Your tips would be very much appreciated as your system shows so neat and clean!

I am not clear about how you grafted the whites together. Do you single crochet through both red loops? Thank you so much.

@phoenixmarine9742 жыл бұрын
Did you start with an even number of cast on stitches, or odd number?
@lissaplus32 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the pattern you are using, but the amount of the two colors, front and back, will match.

I am having an issue with this edging: instead of both fabrics coming together, the entire edge on both sides are open and have holes, instead of being one piece. I don't understand where I am going wrong. Might you have another moment to help me figure this out?
