If this is a beginner tutorial I gotta be stupid, but I’m pretty sure I’ve never watched a beginner tutorial with fewer instructions on how to do the things you do, just pushing random buttons and assume that beginners know what you’re doing isn’t very helpful.

I probably wouldn’t recommend the course for you. It mainly goes over using the maschine mk3 or plus. It does go over the software, which would be the same software you are using. And there are some overlapping of functions between the mikro and mk3/plus, but I wouldn’t recommend it given the course’s price. I wouldnt want you to buy it and then not find it useful for your case

I joined the course and tried to contact you via the "drop me a a line" feature on the music memor site. This was about a Week ago (11th November) and I got no answer so far. I joined the course especially for the Maschine implementation inside Ableton Live, only to find out there are no videos on that topic. Will this videos be available soon? Otherwise the course is not really relevant for me ;(

hey nice informative video, with the upcoming update i was looking at maschine again and i'm wondering, can you hold a pad slot then play in the note you want on that slot with another midi controller or add notes one step at a time? im not a fan of live recording or selecting a note with a rotator knob

Great overview. Is there an easy way to timeoffset particular samples inside the zones? For example a sample starting 0.1sec before my snaresample? I only figured out to insert some blank space into the snaresample to offset it +0.1 sec. But then I also have to play the midi note 0.1 sec earlier…not a Great Workflow…

whats the sense of using maschine for a remix if you only using the software tho. Feels like using a tool not suited for that task really.

Hey. The original beat was created on the maschine using the controller. Typically, once I have a beat going, a remix idea may come to mind. Then I'll throw the vocal into the software to see if the remix would work. It's not the optimal tool for creating remixes, but I just wanted to show people how to do it for those that only have the maschine hardware and software

If NI brings in lockstate performance recording and general recording (mute states etc) to the arranger in a future update the Maschine will become best in class for live production.

A really weird thing about Machine and may seem like a small thing is that it shows loops length(not very helpful) instead of loop position(very useful). So for instance, when you are on measure 16, second beat it is 15:2 Totally bonkers and not very useful in context.
