Great vid! This is actually similar to the workflow I use most of the time. I usually only use one group to “document” the reference track by typing info in the clips. I run out of text space when it gets crowded with many elements though. I’m definitely gonna try your way now. It makes more sense.

That was great! Best tutorial vid yet! Also is there a way to chop the reference track into scenes to add patterns or is it clips only? I would love to see a video on how to do this without the computer though. Is this still possible thru standalone? I would love to see a reference tracks with clips only playthrough thru standalone!!

You can do it with patterns, but it’d take some time to chop. One method I’d do is create a new pattern for the soundslot every 8 bars. Pattern 1 would play the soundslot audio from bars 1-8. Pattern 2 would play bars 9-16, and so forth. Yes, this would be possible with standalone if you have the audio file on your SD card

Couldn't you use stems of a song separated by a program like RipX? Maybe import the midi files?
@MusicMemor10 ай бұрын
I'm not familiar with that tool, but I'll have to try that out and see!
