I am also preparing a raised bed with concrete blocks. My yard is not very big. Are your neighbors going to have a garden also? I think you should encourage them to do so.
@thegabrielfarmsteadАй бұрын
The good thing about gardening is that, no matter what lil space we have, we can always grow something. Many of my neighbors have gardens but not those specific ones…

Very educative, I have been an Extension Worker for over 40 years, I am actually retired now and I am not ashamed to say what I have just seen and learnt is my first after all these years. I have a male one at home that I just decided to let it be, first thing I will do to morrow is that I will cut it and see what happens. One question though...do I have to sterilise my machete before cutting each of my male papaya trees?
@thegabrielfarmstead2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much. That is the recommended procedure, that we unfortunately don’t always follow. Let us know how it goes!
@sanenpfumagh67792 ай бұрын
Your experiments failed right?
@edgargoedhart70592 ай бұрын
This method is useless and time consuming, listen next time select the seeds before sowing by using only the seeds in the middle of the fruit. Do not use those in the top and the bottom of the fruit. These way you will have 99.9% female and hermaphrodite papaya bearing plants period. Stop wasting the peoples time ann 2024.
@thegabrielfarmstead12 сағат бұрын
Not quite sure how we wasted your time but thanks for the insight. Since you sound like an expert, please also school us on how to select only female plants from the nursery. Pst, no hate speech allowed here, it is 2024 after all!✌️
