I have a question regarding the wiring. In the manual it shows the reset, speed inputs fed by the 24Vout on the device itself. Is that required or can I use to a +24V from an external power supply to feed those inputs? Are you going directly from an output on the PLC to the speed input on the drive?

This would be a sick way to mount an AP outside somewhere and send the signal and power through a pane of glass. But for that application, unfortunately 100mbps isn't enough these days
