Toma is our yandere lord and savior. To a non-yandere lover, he would DEFINITELY be a big red flag, but to us degenerates, he's perfect. 😍😍😍

I know it's been 8 years now and I assume that I won't get any comments, but when I watched the anime for the first time, I was like around 12-13 years old. Now, a few days ago, I rewatched the anime after several years and I must say that I'm still confused about a lot of things that happened in the anime. I never played the game or watched gameplay of it (because I promised myself one day to play it myself, wo I won't spoiler myself anything) but I figured that the anime never explained much about what was happening in the story or why it was happening. Despite Amnesia being one of my first animes I've ever watched and not having a very good story or logic explanation, it'll still have a special place in my heart and I'm looking forward to playing the game in the near future! (since I'm currently saving money so I can buy it!) To whoever who has read all of this until now: Thank u for reading and I apologize for my bad english ;D Have a great day!!

I played the game after I saw the anime and I was shocked because of how much they actually missed from his story... after playing the game Kent was definitely my fav character.

at some points the cgi is a bit rough.. but besides that the cgi is pretty good

Doesn't Ukyo also not have a digital camera like that in the game? I remember him complaining that he can't carry around his stuff easily. Though either way, he would definitely not have that camera. He didn't even like the Heroine taking photos with her phone in the good ending.

Kent deserved better. Yah Shin's outfit from the waist down really bothered me (also he's the only own without the suit somewhere in his design, not including Ukyo). And then Kent's obsession with belts lol. Though I did like the gloves. Weirdly I was fascinated by Ikki's blue gloves while I was playing the vn, idk why. Also ngl I thought the spade on Ikki was a side effect of his wish since it's pointing to his eyes (T<T)

Toma's route pretty much proves that a yandere LI route will not work if the protagonist is a passive deadfish like Amnesia Memories' Heroine.

Kent in game was my favorite, and I didn't expect to like him at all after watching the anime, just wanted to pass some time. But when I tell you I was so surprised as I was playing I started actually getting giddy because he was just so cute, thoughtful, and straightforward, and actually a gentleman! The worst crime he commits in the game were crimes of fashion! Lmao that outfit of his literally reminded me of the Onceler from the freaking Lorax lols. I almost wanted to smack his shoulder through the screen for walking out in public like that! But that aside I was not even halfway into his he's actually so sweet and thoughtful in his own ways, seemingly cold at fist until you learn more about him and what his parents were like, nothing crazy, just a happy family that communicates differently than others might, but no less affectionate. He's just used to communicating a certain way and at first doesn't understand how the way he talks can come across to other people, because that's what's normal to him. He grows on you through his unique gestures of affection like the two week anniversary cake, the homemade workbook he made just for the mc, inviting her on walks and mini dates like having her visit with him while he works at school or at home, just so he can spend time with her even though he's busy. Putting anything on hold the minute he finds out she has something she'd like to do with him or just needed someone to be there, he would make an effort to be there for her. He actively and consistently communicates with the mc and makes a genuine effort to be present and be there for her in the best way that he knows how, and when he's not sure what would make her happy, asks her. It's made clear his feelings towards the mc are genuine, he cares deeply for the mc and takes her feelings and their relationship very seriously. Even though he does his best in his own ways, he realizes his flaws and that he needs to put in effort to be more conscious about how he acts and speaks to get better at communicating and learns how to better empathize with the mc, and he learns how to do this more and more as the game progresses. Not only that but honestly his route is the best outcome and the healthiest relationship out of all the routes, because not only does he feel more like a real person because you get to see his goals and aspirations. His love for education is not related to the mc but in who he is. In the good ending, while he realizes that his going abroad is essential to his goals and future career, he also realizes he couldn't be truly happy without mc in his life. So what does he do? Does he throw all of his life goals away and just stay put in Japan to stay with mc? No. He actually communicates with the mc about how he would like to go forward, both for his sake but also for future he hopes they can have together so that he can be someone to depend on for her. He makes not just a romantic gesture to ask her to come with him, but way better, he commits to helping her study so that she can qualify for a special program of her own that would allow her to pursue her own education, career goals, and passions alongside him. Not just for their relationship but so that she can grow as her own person as well. I just really loved this inclusion because it show that he builds he up, he doesn't see her as someone who can't think or do things for herself but still wants to be there for her in the best way he can, and help her achieve higher education because that's something he knows how to do, and commits to her as a true partner that works together. Also I know it should be a given but I'll just mention it, he is very clear about consent even for innocent gestures of affection, it's just good to see because it really shows what kind of person he is.

Ok so one thing I want to explain what the anime most likely doesn’t is that the reason the heroine is so.. weird and behaves so unnaturally is that due to the magic nature of her memory loss, much of her personality as well as her ability to feel certain things have been suppressed as well, which includes things such as the ability to properly express fear. As for the ending… yeah it’s kind of an asspull but at least they address it in the sequel’s after story. What’s more is that Toma actually doesn’t forgive himself for what he did regardless of the pure intentions he believed he had and he ends up asking the heroine to lock him up in that cage. It’s not a perfect story admittedly but it does it’s damndest to try and show how Toma deeply regrets his actions.

Ukyo's other self is scary and crazy BUT unlike Toma, he really cares about the heroine's safety and happyness. Heck he wanted to stop his evil side to hurt her when they were in the church. He even kill himself to give her a happy life. That was so heroic and sad! Toma would never do that, he would only keep her in a cage for ever. That's scared me more than Ukyo evil side 😲😱

Toma is a Yandere! He is obsessed with the heroine, drugs her and locked her in a cage to '' protect '' her plus he wanted to KILL Shin because he talked to her. This guy is crazy! Yes he's cute and have pretty eyes but i still find him scary. Heck, Toma is crazier than Ukyo! At least he tries to stop his other-self to hurt the heroine while Toma KNOWS what he is doing the entire time. He's more dangerous than Ukyo who has a double perosnality plus he's tall and can run fast too. That's incredible 😱

In the Amnesia game, we can give any name we want to the heroine which is cool! It's a way to insert us in the story as well as making her a bit likable. Yes she is naive and can't defend herself BUT what happen to her is really sad. Her only friend is Orion, he really care about her safety! He can't helped her if she's in danger but he's here for her. Also, i find it unfair that a god offers her a '' better life '' by sending her to multiples dimensions with Tohma and Ukyo; two guys who wants to kill her. The poor girl have amnesia, it's enough! Making her suffer with creepy boys is not gentle at all! That god is a jerk 😤He should be chased and attacked by Ukyo not the heroine!

Ah yes Diabolik lovers! Making handsome vampires '' nice '' by giving them sad pasts. It won't work! It's not because they got beated by their parents or traumatized that it's a good reason to; strangle Yui, insulting her by giving her '' cute '' names like b*tch-chan or cocroach; one of the new vampires called her that in the second season. Drinking her blood untill she faited, going in her room without permission, harassing her etc. Thoses guys may be pretty but have terrible personalities. They just treat her like a walking fridge, not a real person. The ONLY who was a bit nice to her is Subaru, when he gave Yui a dagger that can hurt vampires. She never used it when they drink her blood which is stupid BUT at least he offers her something to defend herself. Better than nothing i guess 🤣😂

Honestly evil ukyo was the best character. After a few episodes you really start to hate the main character cause she has such a bland personality and no emotion and she will say dumb shit thats unnecessary. In the toma arc after he repeatedly drugs her, puts her in a cage and threatens to rape her. She starts spewing some BS about how she forgives him that he was doing his best to protect her and that's he's actually a good person. NO! evil ukyo had the right idea yeeting her off that building

Kent and ukyo were the only characters I semi- tolerated her being with just because they were the only guys in the anime who didn't just force themselves on her without her consent.

I super love Space Brothers!!! For me, it's one of the best animes, if not the best, there is! :) And I actually love the music/theme ;)

I loved Amnesia because of the opening!! Yeah, the plot was pretty bad compared to the game, but at the time I saw it, I didn’t know about the game and thought the anime was pretty good.
