Yes in most situations, but you do have to plan out your Hype recovery well. On 100% uptime bosses like Trial Hanumatan, Spec EO is better though for sure since there is no downtime to sync Hype 0's.

I would recommend Swift EO for 1660. I'm slowly pushing my second SF to 1660 as well with the new Power Pass. I really hope they increase our Enlightenment points so 1660's can access the 4th node since that's really where all the fun is.

Unfortunately, Spec EO needs the 4th node to function since the 4th node is what provides the cooldown resets. Right now that requires 1680 but hopefully they fix that with winter Loaon.

The other T-Skill is perfectly viable for Robust Spirit since the cooldown actually syncs perfectly with your rotation. I just didn't upload the clip, but the damage is very similar and maybe a bit comfier because it perfectly syncs. In a 2-minute parse, Stomp is higher damage but if we did like a 10-minute parse I think the damage numbers even out.

i've been testing RS T3 force orb setup but can't seem to find any build that works with spec crit, my energy release cooldown is 16 seconds which makes doing 2 cycles per hype almost impossible. but i feel like I can't go CD tripod on energy release because nothing else in the kit runs synergy. Is there something i'm missing?

Update: the class is doing no dmg, at 1640 even if i factor in all the progression systems i'm missing, i'm only getting up to 24m dps. That's with getting 2 cycles per hype + T skill + awakening crit. I did all the research for tripods that was available but this doesn't seem worth playing at all pre 1680. Is there something i'm missing?

@@coltomanderson9835 Oh. I would not recommend Robust Spirit until Ark Passive. Before Ark Passive, the class is pretty bad DPS wise. I was a Swift EO main before Ark Passive and the damage was night and day.

That's pretty good. I would still recommend running Strike over Zeal. The main reason is that Strike buffs all your Front and Back attack skills even if you don't land them as Front or Back attacks. So you just get a free 32% Crit Damage onto Merciless Pummel, Lightning Palm, and Shadowbreaker for free, and those three skills are about 65% of your overall damage (Rest being T, FO, CP, and Hyper)

Energy Blast is solid and I know a lot of SF players who run it over FO. Super safe skill especially since Aegir, and Brel both have fall-death in their later stages. Plus it lets you greed certain patterns that you'd otherwise have to dodge.

You can run Cursed Doll and KBW as well on Swift EO with similar results. I like running PD because Swift EO gets a lot of innate Crit Damage and I like being able to regularly see yellow numbers. Might just be trauma from playing T3 Swift EO with 35% crit rate though LOL. From my originally testing, PD did slightly more damage than CD but that was before the new Node. With the new node we lose 8% Crit Damage from Keen Force because we now put those points into Energy Practice. That change does lower overall Crit Damage, meaning Crit Rate is less valuable. I'll test the engravings again at some point but they are all within 2-4%. I am slowly accumulating Relic PD books too since it's the only reasonably affordable book atm.

@@realmonstrata I get the best performance from using CD+master set on swift EO. KS2/OT1/S2 for the evo nodes. This is with EP1/EE2/KF1. Since t skill (+FO/CP) doesn't have a front/back modifier, it doesn't benefit from S2 crit dmg so critical isn't that great, IMO. You really feel the 7% lower crit rate but as soon as you go to 90%+ the difference isn't as noticeable from say 90-95 so it seems like PD feels kind of bunk unless you can get really high crit rate and swap to BT? I also tried messing with OT2+KS1 vs KS1+LB1+OT1 vs OT1+KS2. OT1+KS2 was the best performance for me. Changing to OT2+KS1 allowed me to get an extra skill in at the end of H3 but that doesn't seem to offset the loss of 4% crit rate across the board. OT1+KS1+LB1 worked better than OT2+KS1 when crit rate was very high (94%.) Just sharing some testing.

@@ap9929 I think your build is solid too. PD is of course the end-game goal once you've unlocked both Adrenaline and Precise Relics as you can then swap to Blunt Thorn.

It's viable but your rotation will differ because the 4th line is what gives Robust Spirit enough CDR to sustain the current rotation.

The build's core rotation is pretty easy to learn, and once you feel more confident, there are more complex rotations you can learn to maximize the number of skills cast. It's also pretty satisfying now, especially since you have 85% crit rate so it's pretty rare for Spirit Bomb to not crit. Going for big Spirit Bomb numbers on Akkan, Ivory Tower, Behemoth, etc... is always fun.

That's why I included Hype 3 parses first. It's difficult to assess Swift EO Trixion damage because by default its low due to the Hype 0 cooldown. A full H123 - H0 - H123 rotation showcases the top and bottom end of the parse, but you really shouldn't play this class if you cannot sync Hype 0 with boss downtimes. Outside of Guardian Raids, every raid in this game has mechs that allow for Hype 0 resets so Trixion will never be a perfect measure for real raid scenarios. Every class loses DPS-pie value when a cutscene happens except Swift EO. The general expectation for me is that for every two H3 rotations, one H0 rotation gets cancelled via mechs/boss DR, which is realistic for most raids. I would add that even in Guardian Raids. You try to minimize the Hype 0 downtime as much as possible. In Argeos, I typically do a H3 > H0 > H3 rotation and the boss dies in 1:50. My current parse with this is rotation around 125-140m. In a juiced lobby, I would instead opt to do H1 > H2 (full rotation) > H3 and the boss dies in 1:10. My current parse with this rotation is about 150-165m. If I just did H3 > H0 > Boss dies, then I'm sure my DPS would be like 80m tops. If your parse was simply H3 > H0 > Guardian dead, then you've mismanaged hype in relation to the boss, and of course your DPS would be much lower compared to others. DPS is just one aspect of a class's potential. With Swift EO, the key to doing well on this class is being able to adapt your Hype levels to fit your party and the raid. There are certainly raids like Echidna and Thaemine Gates 1, 2 and 4 where you can basically get go H3 > Mech > H3 > Mech > H3 without having to DPS very much in H0. The caveat is that in raids with absolutely no downtime, I have to agree that Swift EO Soulfist absolutely sucks (Hell Hanumatan). To date though, no raid has come out with zero downtime.

It definitely makes Swift even better because now you can reduce the Hype Recovery time. KR testing was able to get Hype 0 recovery down to about 37 seconds, but at the same time, I don't want to rely too much on KR testing because their research is based on KR rotations which are unoptimized.

I think with the recent Spec EO nerfs, Swift EO is stronger. Also Swift EO was buffed in KR with the new balance patch.

You can technically switch with 1 Ancient Gear and 4 Relic Accessories. Although it's recommended to wait until 3 Ancient Gear and 3+ Ancient Accessories. Standing Striker and Critical is better until you hit the cap (Relic Adren + Relic PD) in which case swapping to Blunt Thorn and Master elixir provides a higher cap.
