Here in 2024. Good job 👍. Like the content. Agree with others. Needs more water. Did I miss a Silcox 4 way key? And music isn’t needed. Otherwise great stuff.

Thank you for your time and effort...it gives me the knowledge for having back up (off grid) power. The only thing I may add is putting a lid or board to top of the batteries as to have additional safety for the terminals.

Why not go with lithium batteries and coupling them in parallel like 2 12v 250 amp hour batteries? That 6000w of power, given in a 12v 110 power with a discharge ability of almost zero. Lithium weigh less than AGM or lead acid

I don’t care for these sling packs on my back, but I keep one with my go bag. If you put it on the front of you and then put on your backpack you now have an added way to secure “valuable s “ along the way. Extra water bottles, jacket or beech towel. Maybe you can score a decent purchase at a supermarket it it’s early on. When I did a practice run with a buddy I was in my work truck. It is full of resources, nothing I would readily incorporate into a go bag but things I saw a value in for sure. I rolled up a moving blanket, took a couple of plastic drop clothes a few hand tools masks, ear plugs, handful of nails. I also always have a case of water in the truck and plenty of snacks for an energy boost. The sling bag gave me an option of lessening the suck factor, and if it got in my way I could always thin it out or dump it all together.

Not sure if you're still around, but I've never seen a video about a TRUE desert get home bag. Ie, let's say you're driving from vegas to los Angeles, and shtf happens when you're in Baker. That's 94 miles back to Vegas. God forbid its summer, and it's 114 degrees. Are you not screwed? Get a dolly and carry 50 gallons of water? Lol, im not coming down on you, but it seems 99% of preppers live by a lake or streams, so water's not an issue. Any thoughts? And yes, i have a silock key, too. Thank you
@puppiesarepower36825 ай бұрын
You must be from Minnesota. One who works in 115°F knows how to handle and prep for 115°F heat.
@dgunearthed78595 ай бұрын
@puppiesarepower3682 so by the same logic, the 99% of preppers making get home bag videos for their audiences who live by kakes and streams are really just wasting their and their audiences time. Because heck, they should already know how to prepare for their environment? Wow, that's profound. You should let them know this.

What kind of a bullshit explanation is it in this movie ? 40 galons of fuel is 151 liters for the generator and a run time of 2000Watt generator is only 80 hr ? ANd the 4x100W panels will deliver to you 2000Watt for how long ?

Hi. Great video. Question is can you put the upper parts inside a big plastic box like a large gun case. Only close it to transport, open when in use. Also. How could you make it so the wiring to the batteries disconnect so the upper part and batteries can be transported since I'm single no help. Thank you for your time and great information.

Well I would probably double the batteries. Also I have a friend with solar he has a rack that he can adjust according to the sun angle not sure how may times he changes it in a year. Not sure how hard it would be but more panels would be nice too.
