Short version: Open the flap on the front bottom edge of your machine. Put a key or flat screwdriver in the eye of black bit of plastic that points downwards and push it down. Done. Cut to 3:45 of this video if you feel the need.

Hold on now sir, I've been sewing almost 50 years, your making it harder than it is when it is basic common sense. You are trying to hide the thread twist of a very thick thread inbetween only 2 layers of a fabric weight that just is not thick enough to hide it. Drop down to a thinner thread that is appropriate for what you are sewing. If the thread used must be two different colors and certain parts of the project is only 2 layers of fabric no amount or adjustment will hide the twist, just switch the thread/needle to smaller gauge for those areas, the stitch is fine and well formed, its the fabric that is not thick enough to hide it. Its like your trying to force a big size 10 foot into a size 7 sandal, your toes will hang out the front and heel out the back of the sandal, no way around it, get the right shoe, same principle.

Good point about the choice of thread thickness, etc, but are you really saying that the thread tension setting is nonsense? There is no need to do anything about it because one can fix the issue of having the bottom thread showing on the top of the fabric by selecting a thicker fabric? I doubt the Japanese engineers constructing the Juki machines with adjustable thread tension share your views. However, I am happy you found a solution that works for you!

Then it must be plugged from the inside. It can be some paper blocking, like a ticket from pocket or similar. See if you can stick a small wire up, or use caustic soda because that dissolves paper.

Regular lighter in a SOTO lighter container. Check it. Google! It’s called something like sparked by nature. You find it. It’s Japanese. Good stuff. I have one.

@@Ken_Sweden looked interesting! Makes the entire thing kinda big but love that it attaches onto existing lighters! Not the ideal form for me though.

Hello. If i can get a little help. My tumble dryer Bosch serie 4 has a Ph I label, and now the Ph 2 label has appeared. What is that? The machine dries well, all filters are cleaned. That mark appeared when my son pressed something while the machine was running. Anyone? 😊

It's the hinges, let it sit if some dirt is working as glue, and dry it out. Then remember to do firm anti-clockwise and it should slide right off. There are no obstacles or similar in the way.

Thanks. I'll try this, as the only thing that works properly is the clock. Fuel gauge reads accurately, until you turn the engine on, then it jumps up 1/4 tank higher. The oil pressure, engine temp do nothing, and the voltmeter needle constantly vibrates at +/- 14 volts.

I use electrolysis and would prefer vinegar over any real acid simply for ease of disposal and safety. Thinking about a muriatic acid accident gives me nightmares. I'll work a little harder and stress a little less. They all have their applications.

Intresant test!

What I discovered during my restoration project is that the majority of bolt-nut junctions that were a subjected to severe corrosion and seizure are actually quite untouched the deeper the threads go. The main crust that prevents you to unscrew it is only 1-2mm in thread length. Which in itself is astonishing, considering that this amount of corrosion is already enough for you to sheer off the bolt head in attempt to unscrew it without any preliminary prep like heating or using penetrating oil.
