Thanks for making the time to post this video. This worked for me on my Series 4. I did clean out filter the first time but clearly not well enough. I spent a further 10 minutes fully cleaning as per the video and it worked straight away. Thanks again

Thank you so much for the video! Fixed my problem with the Bosh e90 (only qualified engineer may fix it, said the web page. ha-ha!)

Heads up. I have the exact same dryer. E-90 error after drum got stuck on a jacket zipper, burnt rubber smell. I used a damp rag and cleaned out the lint capture area. It must have reset a sensor as shown in video. Turned dryer on without error code or any problems. Thanks for the video.

E90 is a Communication error on the PCB, switching off might be a temp fix but its normally a replacement Power PCB Board

I had the same issue on my Bosch Serie|6 dryer which was 1.5yrs old. It kept clicking and showing an E:90 error. I tried all possible troubleshooting steps and finally called the Bosch technician. They replaced the PCB, it didn't work. Then they replaced the PCB+Operating Module and it still didn't work. They did the same PCB+OM replacement a third time, still nothing. 3 months and 4 tries later, they ended up replacing the machine because they could not get past the E:90 error and the machine was still in warranty. My new replacement machine is 1.5 months old and is working fine at the moment. Fingers crossed.

For anyone having this problem, you need to call in a Bosch technician. It's a faulty electronic board. I just had this serviced so this is the real problem and nothing else.

Mine is still working fine. The video was posted long time ago. No need for technician yet.

You're absolutely right. E90 is a PCB fault and I don't understand what this video is about ...

@@BenNorway just to let you know that I'm a bsh (Bosch Siemens home group) service engineer ang trust me your video can be very misleading for people.

Just use the brush from your dustpan and brush to sweep the lint out of your filters. No need to wet them at all.

Hello. If i can get a little help. My tumble dryer Bosch serie 4 has a Ph I label, and now the Ph 2 label has appeared. What is that? The machine dries well, all filters are cleaned. That mark appeared when my son pressed something while the machine was running. Anyone? 😊
@Ken_Sweden4 ай бұрын
The “Ph I” and “Ph 2” labels on your Bosch Serie 4 tumble dryer typically indicate the phases of a drying program. They are not error codes but rather show the progression of the drying cycle. Ph I usually indicates the initial phase of the drying process, where the machine might be adjusting settings, sensing moisture levels, or beginning to heat up. Ph 2 indicates that the machine has moved to the second phase of the drying program. This phase could involve a different temperature setting or other adjustments based on the detected moisture level. Given that your son pressed something while the machine was running, it’s possible that the display changed due to a button press or the selection of a different program or setting. Here are a few steps to ensure everything is functioning correctly: 1. Check the Program Settings: Ensure that the correct drying program is selected. 2. Restart the Machine: Turn off the dryer, wait a few moments, and then turn it back on. This can reset any accidental changes. 3. Button Lock Feature: Some models have a child lock feature that prevents accidental changes to the settings. Check if this feature has been activated. If the machine is drying well and all filters are clean, it seems to be operating correctly.
