Eric Roberts doesn’t get the credit for how good of an actor he is. His sister wouldn’t have been who she is if it wasn’t for him. Look at the history. The dude has respect and always had from Hollywood.

Penn will be missed. The best actors bring a bit of themselves into the role. I wouldn’t watch a movie about a musician portrayed by an actor who can’t play enough to convince their audience.

One of the greatest & most underrated Martial Arts movies ever. My brother & I grew up watching Best of The Best along with The Karate Kid Trilogy, Bloodsport, Lone Wolf McQuaid, Out for Justice, No Retreat No Surrender, Revenge of The Ninja, Fist of The North Star anime film, Mortal Kombat 1 & Bruce Lee movies. The '80s & '90s were such great eras for Martial Arts movie fans. Anyone here happen to know what fighting style Eric Roberts' character Alex Grady uses in Best of The Best? In every one of his fight scenes, he always uses the same unique stance at the start of each round he competes in. I don't think its Karate nor Tae Kwon Do, don't think its Kung-Fu either. Always been curious about his fighting style🤔

Most are games, but we’ve defined activities” as sports. I guess, in comparison, martial arts tournaments are extreme sports. (Or rather… extreme activities.)

When I see Quan in this, I think James Lew was the person they modeled Liu Kang after in Mortal Kombat, Like cage was modeled after JCVD and SOnya after Cynthis Rothrock
