A Vanquish heavy compared to your other reels?

I have 2 of the St. Croix Avid Surf Caster 12' heavy paired w/ Penn Fathom2 Casting Special spooled w/30lb braid...and 60lb top shot shock leader w/ FG knot....Guys,... there is no setup that will cast "a mile".....as some will claim....but I can say,... this setup will cast 200 yards....how many of you can cast 200 yards with those silly little spinners..??????????

@@Models_2023 7’6” ML nrx plus is the rod. The rod will depend on how you will use it. The kistler zbone is also a great rod also the st Croix legend elite.

You get what you pay for ! If you wanna buy a bucket every year then this bucket is not for you. With the accessories you can buy ( the lid, the rod holder, the drink holder ) this is the ultimate fishing tool chair whatever. You can not do that with a $5.00 bucket

You were saying the medium light rod has great sensitivity for finess worms and is rated for 3/8oz lures...a wacky worm set up neko eith a weighted nail and plus the weight of the hook surpasses that (a little). Do you recommend going to a medium rod (5/8 oz lures)

That looks like fun. I sometimes catch gizzard shad where I fish in the Intracoastal Waterway here in Texas. Mostly we get the gulf menhaden. Both are killer baits.

Nice truck congrats with your purchase… but we are in an age and era where manufacturers (not just automobiles) are cutting costs left and right. I used to own 2005 Nissan Xterra and the quality compared to the new frontier… you can feel it the tightness and everything. It’s not the same… Even new Mercedes electric vehicles people are making videos of the quality it’s absurd. I’m sure you spent hard working money but times like this you are better off buying a slightly used (3-6 years old) low mileage truck.

@@KaushikRai09 look up pure fishing. They own Mitchell brand. Most of the reel they make are interchangeable. Pure fishing owns a lot of brand so should be pretty easy to find a reel that use the same handle just under different name brand.
