Jimmy was the only brawler in my opinion when i think of American greats.. everyone was technical an smooth.. Jimmy's gripping strategies is like wearing down your opponents in a boxing match with multiple combinations while stalking them from start to finish!!.. I teach this method at my dojo because of Jimmy's fighting results an dawg mentality.. Fury on the Mat , is a real thing

He was good .. if most tournaments he fought He made the podium.. in fact more times then Jimmy.. the French team back then til now still travels more than Americans teams will ever,do to the the high demand for judo in france.. Fernandez resumes blows all Americans judo fighters resume out the water, as many world medals that guy accumulated..

Flavio hatte wirklich die beste Mischung zwischen Judo und JJ die man haben kann. Es macht man stolz, Judoca zu sein.

Ryoko was the complete package. She had it all, endurance, high IQ judo, explosive power and speed. She attack at every angle and had multiple specialties with her tachiwaza and newaza attacks. An absolute monster. She would of excelled in MMA also. #GOATSTATUS

The type of mastery of technique to do a de ashi barai at the olympic level at the 100kg category is simply superhuman.... I think that technique is one the first techniques taught within white and yellow belts and there it is, executed and immortalized during the highest level of competition in existence...
