Sherwood Schwartz made 90 million on reruns alone, yet Dawn Wells had to beg for help with medical expenses, 😢😢

Dawn Wells is such a Sweetheart 😊 she just makes me so happy and her voice is just beautiful! Maryanne was always my favorite character on Giligan‘s Island. I still watch this show and grew up with it over almost 40 years ago! Time sure does fly!

They really did a heck of a job finding the actors to play the original actors. That's some impressively accurate casting.

My family moved to Hawaii in 1966 when I was 5. Because of Gilligan's Island, I thought that we were going to live in a hut on the beach. 😂😂 As for lasting impressions, my brother named two kittens he adopted in 2023 MaryAnn and Ginger. We loved the show.

This movie is not an accurate reflection of Tina. But look who's the last one standing, and also the longest-living cast member (surpassing Mrs Howell Natalie Schafer).

It was really funny when Jim and Alan had that golf ⛳️ ball driving contest, how Jim insisted he had the longest drive. Then in learning a golf ball had broken a windshield he said Alan had out driven him, bur I noticed Jim never did give Alan the $20! 🤣

Post traumatic stress disorder, or the WWII label, combat fatigue, sometimes the thousand yard stare; that's what this movie was really about. Guilt. So many survive combat but suffer, sometimes for the rest of their lives. In the old days they would often turn to alcohol, in recent decades, drug addiction. As seen here, the families suffer as well. Spouses and children suffer along with the head of the family. Often violent and irrational acts. Not healed by a return to civilian life. Jobs lost, careers destroyed. And never again peace of mind. All too often ending in suicide, with the survivors who live with the results for a lifetime. That is what this film is really all about. Heartbreaking. The only thing not real is the happy ending.

Wow I did not know this documentary existed. What a great show this is. To me and many others these guys are tv legends and growing up watching them was a pleasure. Too much violence on tv now. These shows are a breath of fresh air. Thanks for posting this as it made my day complete. Peace all
