It's already been going downhill for a long time. Poor PVP updates. Restrictions to new accounts. Not addressing the economy, inflation, or bots. Huge disparity between Pvm and Bossing. Illegitimately forcing the new skill to pass by reducing the poll requirement from 75% to 70%. Had to quit a few years ago but at least I can be more productive in real life now. And now this new controversy with increased membership price suggestions. Honestly it would be best if OSRS imploded and new ownership took over the game, resetting it from scratch and taking out all the bad updates over the years.

I quit because the game is never truly gonna get "fixed." Devs are pulling a RS3 and prioritizing new content and they even went as far as to destroy polling to get what they wanted. The game is one bad content update away from completely destroying the foundation the game was built upon. Such as the proposed prayer update that got pulled at the last minute.

I remember you explaining the best way to use pouches, and little things here and there that just blow my mind and fascinate me. I got nothin but love and respect for you my dude.

So with the changes to run energy coming things could become very interesting for a standard F2P iron man. I DPS calc'd killing mind golems with a strength ammy + barronite mace + strength potions + flicking 15s and the expected DPS is 5.34 so about 300 kills an hour if you include the time you spend "waking the golem up" + time spent making the strength potions + trips to the bank. Drop rate for noted essence, uncut gems, and mind cores are all the same at 7/52 so given that in 1 year killing efficiently for 5000 hours you should expect: 200,000 uncut gem table - sapphire 4/7 = 114,285 uncut sapphire - emerald 2/7 = 57,142 uncut emerald - ruby 1/7 = 38,571 uncut ruby 200,000 essence table = 708k notes ess - 6/7 chance 4 essence (3-5 roll) - 1/7 chance 1 essence - avg 3.54 per 200,000 mind cores An ultimate could cut the gems and alch them efficiently while killing and run the mind cores 1 inventory at a time. This would obviously drastically slow down kills per hour, and I'm not sure how food/health management would change things unless you wanted to 1 tick flick 15s and pray melee with quick prayers.

I can't see this game ever becoming a main game for most people. Second monitor/extra Project afk type idle game sure. It's just worse than Runescape on all accounts, and across all versions if you are being honest. All you can say is "it will be better" but that is far from being concrete. It is Cope and hope. I get it though. I am not a huge fan of Jagex either and out of spite and enjoyment for myself, i would rather want to see something like this stealing the wind out of their sails. The name Brighter Shores is rather apt for that as well. But that's all it is spite,cope,memes. It's not on a level to be taken seriously. I know some people who play the game "just because " and for the memes and the whole holiday itema skyrocketing thing also for memes and what if scenario. None of them play it actually seriously or as a main game though. All that said i guess there is still one final option available unlikely as it may be: Andrew sees all this happening and actually tries his best to make it an actual thing to both steal jagexs thunder and strike it rich. Likelihood of that succeeding though is very low and the work required massive and not achievable in the near future. To quote some other posts: The sweaty grindlords will chase the leaderboards regardless of how fun the content is. "I think it will be really fun in the future. I hope it will be really fun in the future." This is literally all this game is running off of. The hope of neeks who want this game to be big in the future so their stats mean anything. The game is trash. The only reason people played this to begin with is because Andrew's name is attached to it. The prevailing mentality in the community is 'it will get better' and speculation on the FOMO event hats.

idk if you do wrist stretches, but look into it, definitely worth it. I have wrist issues too but when I stretch my wrist for 10 mins a day it makes it much more manageable!
