What kind of moron would even put stuff like this up on KZbin. This dude from what he said, has absolutely no idea about women. And from what i heard, he was banned countless times from his local mall for sitting with some sign where he put demands on what kind of woman he needed and got kicked out. Multiple times. Not to mention what i heard he did to his own mother.

On some level, I admire Chris's confidence in his art because even if he screws up he just works around it and still feels comfortable taking pride in his work years later. I know some people who will draw and then undo a line dozens of times before they find a mark they like, while Chris will go into a drawing pen-only and end up with something he loves unconditionally. But on an even higher level, it's because of that kind of thinking that Chris's art hasn't improved in the twenty years he's been working on Sonichu. Chris doesn't use pencils to "construct" his drawings before doing line art (it would be too much work), he doesn't take the time to fix mistakes (it would be too much work), and he certainly doesn't plan pages in advance (it would be too much work). Whatever is drawn is not only the final draft, but canonized into his personal lore. Chris's art hasn't improved because he genuinely believes that his art doesn't need any and is quick to put down others who say so. Chris is so confident, in fact, that he has no issue with calling out every little flaw he sees in other people's art, especially if it's fanart of his own characters. He was sent a drawing from a fan and made a backhanded compliment about Rosechu's tail being drawn wrong. On one date with a girl, he apparently didn't have *one* positive note to say about her artwork. When someone redesigned his characters, Chris defended that he "literally" saw his own designs in another dimension and then complained about a detail for days without explaining why it bothered him so much. When he was sent a Sonichu plush, Chris nitpicked on the fact that certain parts weren't stuffed and made a public post demanding that people put "maximum effort" into something they send to him for free. And can I mention how quickly it takes him to draw? Chris drew and colored a full body Sonichu drawing in five minutes, but when it comes to his actual comic (something he sees as his magnum opus), it takes him weeks to months, *even years,* of having to be constantly reminded by his fans of how he needs to maintain a schedule to keep his fans just to upload the next page, and he'll always make a litany of excuses for why he shouldn't be bothered before that, or just ignore it and change the subject if you're asking him in person. If Chris really sat down and made a few pages a day, he would've had so many comic books out right now. But of course, that requires work, which Chris just doesn't like.
