Meh. He's just regurgitating information. I can see how someone who has never studied cognitive biases could find this book very interesting but this is all recycled, old information that a million other authors have already written about. There's nothing special about this book. In fact, I would say that this is pretty poorly delivered because the author uses some pretty offensive and uninformed generalizations about certain populations to demonstrate the concepts.

The reason that the author had to disclaim this work as being the product of a novelist, not a scientist, has become clear to me now. It reminds me of Malcolm Gladwell.

Yeah, buddy! I feel like the only reason this book got written was because he wanted to make money. There's no new material in this book. Only regurgitated ideas that a million other authors have written about in a million other books. Moreover, this author makes offensive generalizations about multiple groups of people.
