I was a teen in the 90s with huge obsession for 80s post-punk and industrial, i always felt the urge to know the context, to gather infos thats when I started collecting fanzines. I noticed that the only punk that was reviewed was anarcho and often there were flyers of awesome old gigs and the anarcho punk bands were playing in the same venues/squats. That was my introduction to the genre but the anti war / animal rights intrigued me immediately. Crass were the first punk band that i loved and then immediately after : The Mob, Antisect, Flux, Poison Girls, early Amebix, R. Peni, Crisis, Zounds.. 😊

Less is more, and thats what this band is. Simple to the point. Did it in their own way. I bet they get a kick out of all the crust/dis band stuff haha. Lots of great bands inspired by this band . Thats gotta feel good to this band . They were at the forefront of a sound.

Cal was and still is my punk hero - i named my son after him....shame he took the discharge brand into a dark stage in the late 80's with that ...mmmmm weird singing voice - still he got together with the boys and made the self titled album in the early 2000's - i love him for that

One of the first eps i bought at 14yo, ended up in a finnish dbeat grindcore band playin the last ever gig at Lepakko (rip) not a nightmare at lepakko after all.....that was half a life ago.

Saw them in Lyon in the 90's with selfish... It was a great chaos fun, excellent gig.

Para mim amelhor de todas as bandas do gênero. Esse batera é um monstro. Nao e facil oque ele faz . O baixo e a guitarra são uma coisa fora do comum.
