Amen! You know, the past few months, the LORD has had me throw out everything I’ve ever been taught, sincerely separate myself from the world and seek Him for myself. Just me, my Bible and the Holy Spirit teaching me about the character of the Living God. Changing my perspective entirely to see that Lord Jesus Christ was not speaking figuratively in many instances, but the world has told me that to shut down my powerful mind and keep me from stepping into the faith that can literally move mountains! God is changing my perspective and drawing me into deeper praise, in Spirit and in truth. Leading me to seek to know Him more than ever before and sincerely emulate my Lord Jesus Christ. Showing His love as I practice being His hands and feet, doing my Father’s will and sharing the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ with all. As God circumcises and changes my heart and shows me how to truly walk in the Spirit, it’s easier not to take offense or let emotions run the show. You see, this is why I sincerely appreciate you. Because those who genuinely have been called and purposed to teach have been through it! It’s easy to relate and understand because I know that you’re speaking from a deep, sincere understanding. May God continue to keep and bless you and your family, in Lord Jesus name. Love to you and yours from Ohio. 🙏🏾♥️✝️🕊️🥰

I would like to keep my commentary simple and direct (for once) and state that this message as sent through you, Pastor Mike, to those who view and hear it, so that we may move forward in understanding that love, when expressed in faith for YHVH, is as limitless as He is. The broadening of my understanding of just how immense He is, is a theme for me personally as this year comes to a close, and I am grateful for the insights shared here. Shalom!

I am so very grateful that this message was posted here today. I've been contemplating all day how to honor YHVH and to make this Shabbat evening meaningful, and He provided this message. There is wisdom and candor and inspiration and the experiences of a vulnerable human being from which to learn; to contemplate what being faithful to Yeshua, our Bridegroom, really means is very meaningful to me. Friday nights for me are a solitary experience in human terms and I often go to bed just a little discouraged. This is not the case tonight. Thank you, Pastor Mike, for sharing and bringing me back to wat matters most - faithfulness to our Master. Shabbat Shalom!

Ik that this is a short and you’d probably have made a video on this but when you say Christians are demonising things wouldn’t that mean they are not Christians? So that wouldn’t count as them being actually Christians?

In the world of tournament chess, one learns to record and to study the moves of each game one plays. In so doing, the player may replay the game and hopefully learn from mistakes made. There are countless books about chess, most containing games that have been examined by master players and commented upon. These are called "annotations". They take the reader beyond the moves and add insights and understanding. I will submit as my comment today that this video begins a series of what I hope are "annotations" to the Book of Proverbs so that in analogous fashion those attending services and those watching the videos of the messages will learn more than just what the text says. :)

I sincerely appreciate this video message because the topics are for me the least understood spiritual gift. It is especially helpful to have background and context from Scripture, a broader understanding of the power of the tongue and the bigger picture. I personally have never witnessed these gifts, but I have met someone who turned to Satanism as a teen because he "failed" to speak in tongues as a teenager at his church and was told he had no faith. The lad ended up being asked to leave the church! My main takeaways from this engaging presentation are the points that all the spiritual gifts are given to glorify YHVH and to spread the Gospel message, and they are to be wielded in love. Amein to that!

My goodness! Thank you, dear Mike! I thought I’d be falling asleep and have to finish this tomorrow, but I’m onto the next one. This was fantastic, and I think you’re a great teacher, as it’s obvious that you love the LORD! Wonderful! What really struck me was when you encouraged us to pray for the bad teachers. As the LORD has been showing me His heart and I’m overwhelmed with empathy, patience and a sincere desire to see His people’s eyes be opened and for all of us to dive deeper into our relationship with Him. May God continue to keep and bless you and your family, in Jesus name. 🙏🏾 ❤

@ 😂 Thanks. I will. I just get so excited to learn and I’m trying to figure out what my spiritual gifts are. Ever since I was a small child, before I knew anything about God, I knew I was not alone. I knew there was a higher power, walking with me. I’ve always had dreams of the future, but they usually pertain to my life. Except once I saw my cousin being hit by a car and when I called her she had said that she was getting ready to ride her bike up to the friends house where I dreamt she got hit. I’ve always dreamt of deceptions and bad things happening, warnings, would be an accurate description. & I also have always known who someone was when I met them, even if they tried to put on a facade, I saw through it. I know that this has nothing to do with me, and surely comes from God. The only person I had to talk to about it who believed me was my Grandmother, but she went home to be with the Lord before we got to speak of it. She only told me when I was about 9-10 that I got her gift, and that she had prayed for me to receive this gift before I was even born. 😂 “Get some rest.” Now I’m writing you a book 😆 I’d be appreciative of you have any feedback and I’ve been praying for my gift, knowledge and wisdom. Thanks in advance, Pastor Mike. Have a great night.

1)What comes to mind when you hear the word Apostle? A born again believer in Christ who genuinely follows and emulates Lord Jesus, as he goes about spreading the gospel to all who will listen, walking in the power of and filled with the Holy Spirit, sharing God’s love with all. Teaching and mentoring those who answer the call. My immediate thought was Stephen. That’s because the LORD our God is circumcising my heart and sincerely teaching me to be forgiving, even unto death. He’s been leading me to Acts and showing me how we must all suffer for our Master, Lord Jesus and keep a heart posture of sincere forgiveness as we do. 2) What do you believe is the purpose of prophecy within the Church? I believe the purpose of prophecy is to make ready the Bride of Christ. As Lord Jesus always told His disciples things beforehand, that they would be prepared and believe. Also, so that we are not deceived! I think we seriously need to believe so strongly in Lord Jesus Christ, walking closely after Him, and we must know the Scriptures, understand them and spiritually prepare, learning to be completely dependent upon the LORD, and sincerely live out our faith, preparing to die physically and understanding that at all costs, we must do our Father’s will. By knowing what will happen in the future, it’s easier to see through the lies and deception. We need to be prepared to seriously suffer and die for our God!! Prophecy will help us to do so. 3)What qualities do you believe are essential for someone with the gift of teaching? Understanding, empathy, patience, clear communication skills, fervent passion, and a genuine, deep faith and strong personal relationship with the LORD. For if one is not submitted to Lord Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit and after God’s own heart, can they really comprehend the Scriptures in the way that our Father desires us too? If they cannot comprehend them and don’t sincerely believe them for themselves, how can they teach what they do not know to others? Okay, I’m starting the video now, but I’ll probably have to listen to again tomorrow and come back and comment, as it’s late. I’m very much looking forward to listening to this sermon and so pleased and grateful to have found your channel. 🙏🏾 ❤

Barrabas was the scapegoat
@gregdelaney11926 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for this exceptional and very timely message. My three major takeaways from the sermons are: 1) the mention of how the enemy and the spirits of evil target our family and loved ones in attempts to distract and discourage (my words). This is happening right now in my life, and I have indeed wrestled with tiredness. Seeking out prayer and asking YHVH for strength are being implemented. 2) mention of Spurgeon's ideas including the "right vs. almost right" and the signals of things amiss in the church and community; 3) the teaching about Barrabas and the clear choice Pilate gave the crowd - and its response. The comparison/contrast between how Yeshua worked and continue to work versus the "modus operandi" of evil are so clearly illustrated and show why discernment is vital. All glory to the Father! "Once you know the truth, you're responsible for living it out." Powerful!

This comes across to me as a very insightful, hopeful, and Ruach-filled message with so many layers that I need to keep my comments simple. My main takeaway is that faith and obedience are needed, and that humility and willingness to serve Him are necessary for us to be given the blessing of miracles working through us. The examination of the miracles within the Book of Exodus is particularly meaningful, containing nuances that were new to me. Many blessings to the church in Dixon!

First, a general comment: One thing about the messages at CFM-Dixon that I have come to appreciate is how they transcend mere teaching, "nudging" listeners to bring the ideas into action. Moreover, it is rare in my experience to be able to lay before an audience a set of standards and expectations they have not yet achieved as a challenge and an encouragement while NOT coming across as shaming and critical. This two-part message about spiritual gifts does this, in my opinion. Second, a specific reaction: I whole-heartedly concur that anyone wishing to help heal others is well-served by obtaining healing for him/herself first. Not only do we avoid tainting and weakening the healing effort by so doing, but we can more acutely appreciate the struggles of our brethren because we ourselves have been led through them and found healing through the power of YHVH. Thank you for sharing this topic!
