Wow memories of my teen years, nothing better than 70s and 80s ! Saw that live once and what I would have done to see Lynrd Skynrd back in the day. Thank you for sharing!

The 5th anniversary of Neil's passing is coming up next year. I first fell in love with RUSH back in 1984 with the release of "Grace Under Pressure." Getty started playing more synthesizers, and Neil started using electronic drums, and the rest is history. R.I.P Neil: Born Sept 12, 1952, Died January 7th, 2020. By the way, Alex was great at your guys' INDUCTION INTO "THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME." Best wishes to Getty, Alex and Neil's family and friends. We miss you Neil aka "The Professor. "

If i were to be stranded on a deserted island and could only have 3 albums with me: 1. RUSH "LIVE IN RIO" 2. PINK FLOYD "DELICATE SOUNDS OF THUNDER" 3. THE GUESS WHO "AMERICAN WOMAN"

I’ve never seen Neil smile, especially when playing…. Except during bridge of Spirit of Radio at the corporate RRHOF🙂

The studio version is clearer, but cool to see them play live and to see the audience's enthusiasm. Bands of the seventies and eighties produced music that not only for inner mind fantasy but could make us move. I remember going to concerts where we stood on the floor rather than sit in seats. And also, bands were made up of individuals and not so much digital manipulation by just one person or a few. Think of Earth Wind & Fire . Horn sections, multiple drums and percussion, and so on. Nowadays everything is digital and produced like it was made by Simon Cowells people on American Idol.

FROM one professional drummer commenting on another, *_"WELL DONE, YOU, MOFF!!"_* Bet'cha wondering why, ehhhyyy.., Ok, fair enough!! Ya see, in a world of endorsements for all who are "deserve'ed," ESPECIALLY US DRUMMERS...!! Starting W/cymbals, they are probably the single most expensive part of a drum kit (especially if you're not under an endorsement,) and while they can be seen, I mean for Christ's Sake's, their the all brass and shiny round things, and most cymbal manufacturers (especially the big three,) have kinda come to a common sense resolution on the Major Tour series!! Afterall, they too know that unless, like *_"Gary"_* here, you're sporting a twenty four inch ride AND A twenty two inch china, and both nearly "tripping the lights VERTICAL," with that GIGANTIC *_"ZILDJIAN"_* ®️ logo, PLUS the series of the cymbal, *_"A"_* ™️ It's really no big deal to them, most of the time!! HOWEVER, IT'S THOSE PESKY DRUM MANUFACTURERS, who will KILL (OK, almost kill) to have their ENORMOUS LOGO'd DRUM SET, FRONT AND CENTER (🤔 unless you are *_"Kelly Keagy"_* from *_"Night Ranger!!"_*__) My point here, _*_"Gary"_*_ is playing on a gorgeous set of __*_"PEARL"_* ®️ drums, rack and all!! A man after my own heart, although I have been known to absolutely love my *_"MAPEX"_* ®️ *_"SATURN's!!"_* ™️ HOWEVER, those drums Gary is playing on, and a *_"PEARL"_* ®️ artist, are made very well, they speak even better, with a heavenly timbre, and yet for the new drummer coming up, and with what seems to be on every drum riser, *_"DW"_* ®️ drums, just like the set that *_"DW"_* artist *_"Jorge Palacios"_* is playing on for "Rick" (behind Gary's set,) and shoved down the throat of every drummer, on every tour, the cost difference between the overrated *_"DW"_* ®️ set and the realistic *_"PEARL"_* ®️ set is vast in ones bank account!!! Meaning, the next time you're at another major artist concert/show, see what brand of drums that drummer is playing, then go to a local night club, and see what brand a mostly unheard of band's drummer is playing on!!! And oh, the difference between an endorsee drummer on a major tour and a non-endorsee drummer, in your local bar, it's about two-three thousand dollars!!! Soooooo, to see Gary keeping it real, and from one Southern drummer to another.... *AGAIN .... WELL DONE, YOU!!!!* 😎🤘🏼

2024, Trump has been elected and, since I’ve never watched this, I thought it was time to celebrate my favorite president with my favorite band. After all this time, those songs still give me chills. Too much to say about the Crossroads jam. Too much to say about too much and I don’t have words for any of it. I’m blessed to be alive today.

Here in Nov 24, I don't know how I didn't see this till now, I am ashamed of it. Been a fan of RUSH since 1987, their sound along with the different bands in the world I have been a fan of, RUSH is so Closer to my Heart. RIP Neil Peart. Living in Mumbai,we hardly get to watch live concerts. This dream of watching RUSH live is only fulfilled through you tube and watching amazing fans all round the world by enjoying this incredible band who gave this joy to us. Thank you RUSH.

Quite sad that Mick Jones has allowed this "cover band" to perform using the name of Foreigner. I guess he needs the money they pay him for using the name.

I think it is about time to reconsider regarding the name of this group or it's up to the originals. If they feel they are okay to continue using same name (without the origs) that would be alright. What is important of all . . . the fun continuous.
