One other thing to check is any side effects if you have started any new medications lately. I took a cortico-steroid based nasal spray for seasonal allergies and didn't realize that it could cause hormonal imbalance and tank my immune system. I went to several doctors including my obgyn during this time and they all said that I could be going through early peri menopause (I was 38). No one realized that it was the meds causing the same symptoms. Now that I am truly going through it in my 50s, it's like having deja vu. Love to see all the progress on your wips and that you were able to do something during the car trip!

That's horrible! You should NOT have to go through hormone imbalance twice. Ugh!! You poor thing. Sadly, I'm not taking any new meds so it probably isn't that. I do wonder if my thyroid meds are off a little. That might explain some of the symptoms. Fingers crossed the doc knows what it is and how to fix it. I'm going to be really bummed if it isn't fixable. ~J

Also remember you have a lot going on in your life. New baby and your mom is sick. Take care of yourself and dont think for one second you are crazy. Just asked the women who have done it. Sometimes it's not easy but you are stronger then you know. I'm not a doctor but if you want to text back I will try to help. I didnt get the tag name crazy mom from memo but my silly son. (But congratulations anyway 🥳) Can you remember us discussing Keto and if her face will turn out alright as you were having huge doubts? That must have been quite some time ago as you where no where near her face at that time. And now looking at her face and how lovely it looks, I am glad you decided to trust the pattern and continue ❤ When you talked about your grumpiness and not quite knowing why except for stress... sounds like Peri-menopause symptoms to me. If you have a good gyno get them to describe you some herbal remedies that will make the PMS like symptoms more manageable. You are allowed to skip videos and never feel obligated to go back. We all have super busy lives and I totally understand. I do remember the convo about Keto's face. Man, that was a long time ago, wasn't it? Your comment about peri-menopause was like a lightbulb moment for me. Thank you so much!!!! I don't know why that didn't really click until you said it. You are absolutely right. That's probably exactly what it is. I tried to make an appointment with my gyn this morning, but she is no longer on my list of easy to email doctors. I will have to call the appointment center and see if I can see her directly or if I have to go through my regular doctor and get referred. Either way I will eventually get to her. Thank you! I think everyone around me will be happier if I get myself a bit more even in the emotion department. ~J

... and now it took me ages to write back 🤦🏻‍♀, even though I wrote myself a note to do so. 🙈 I know I don't have to watch all your videos, but there are some Flosstubers I enjoy and like to see and hear what they have been up to, your channel is one of those. 🌻 I think women still do not talk about their bodies and what we go through every month enough. If we don't even share with our friends, how are we going to share with others like doctors, spouses, colleagues, work mates & bosses, ... ? So I have started talking about issues I am having and therefore found out that I seem to have been in peri-menopause since I was about 38 or so, I am now turning 50 and the actual menopause is still pretty far away, but I have symptoms that I did not know what to do with until I took a whole list to my gyno and she told me that all (except for one) can be menopause related. If I had talked to other women in my life I might have realized that a lot earlier and been able to do something about it or just know what it is and not worry. I hope you get an appointment soon and that you get some help and information. 🤞🏻 Take care and happy stitching 🪡🧵🥰

@@FrostyXStitch I'm glad your doctor listened to you. I'm a bit worried mine won't but mainly because the two doctors I trust are missing. I mean I'm sure they aren't really truly missing, but the appointment people said neither has a schedule and they don't see when they will be back. One of them I have been trying to see for like 3 years. I guess I will have to give in and find a new one. That didn't go well before. I think I will avoid men (not being sexist but have had some horrible experiences with male gynecologists). I'm super thankful you pointed out this perimenopause thing. To me it sounds, as if those two doctors who seem to be missing, have actually left the place they were working at. I have had some bad experiences with women gynecologists, but would still always chose a woman over a man in that department, if only for the reason that they actually KNOW what a period can feel like! Happy belated birthday!!!! 62 is still young. When I was a kid, 62 was so old. Now that I'm 48, old is like 96. Maybe. Maybe 100. ~J

Hey there Julie, congrats on grand baby Olivia, she’s darling! Your haul from that eBay sale was so great! Your hubby was smart to ask her if she had more, and you happen to get the mother load. Will you show how you’ll decide to store it? That guy who played that trick on you at the restaurant was so mean. Sounds like a scary moment, and I’m glad that you and your friend, and everyone else was safe afterwards. And I hope that your car is cleaner than the cleanest place on earth. That is really bad that they allow that to happen, but I’m glad that they are making it up to you. Do you think you’ll ever go back there for service for your vehicle? You have gotten far on all of your stitches! I really love both of those afgans that you started. So pretty!!!

I will gladly show storage if I ever figure it out. Ha ha. They barely cleaned the truck. Sigh. We will be doing a more thorough cleaning ourselves. We will have to go back at least one more time for service and then maybe we will switch to another dealer. I suspect it may happen at others too though. You should start all the afghans too!!!! ~J

@@stitchingatthecabin I still would love to see what you decide to do because I’m struggling with storage issues for my stitching too. Love to see all the ideas. That’s nuts that they did that bad of a job on cleaning it for you after all of that. Ugh I want to start all the things, but I want to finish all the things too. I love startitis, but then I get overwhelmed. Lol

@@noelwilcox9989 the service guy was at the doctor so he didn't see the completed job, but I'm horrified that this was the best "detailing" they could do. I feel you with startitis.

@@stitchingatthecabin right, it seems like someone who is blind could do a better job. That’s really bad service from them. What about taking it to be cleaned and then giving them the bill since it’s their fault? Or is that bad to do?

@@noelwilcox9989 There is no smell. They replaced the carpet at the time they fixed the leak. That just leaves the seats which they say they cleaned well before. If I could smell things, I'd be more concerned. We will just do some sanitizing and all should be right with the world. Or at least the truck.

Hooray for Olivia, epic haul, and old baby quality time!!! Boo for weird restaurant comedian & potty pot car! Yell if you need a machete backup! 😆

It took all my will power not to message you the other night. I was watching On Patrol which is like Cops only it's live or at least close to it. Anyway, someone had been attacked by a machete. I had no idea slapping someone with the side looks almost more painful than the slashing/stabbing wounds. ~J

Congratulations for the baby!!! I NEED a fabric video and I would love for them to all come out of their packaging so I can drool at them. For me it is all about the fabric and yes I do have a problem 😆 I am like a dragon curled up on my fabric hord! Xx
