I have watched this video before and I was watching it again tonight. I used to have a Singer Stylist machine. Bought it back in the 70's. It didn't have a lot of stitches on it and I believe, it cost $150 back then. Expensive for that era. It died a few years ago. The worm gears, that feed the feed dogs wore out. $15 part and over $200 to fix. You have to set the timing and other things when you change the worm gears. I bought a Brother XR53. Looks like the same machine as you have. But, with 53 stitches. It has SS1 and SS2 for the different stitches. The XR53 is much quieter than my old Singer was. So far, it has been a workhorse. I love it. I have purchased 2 other Brother machines since and still use the XR53. I have a Brother SQ9285 and a Brother Strong & Tough ST150HDH. I really like the Brother line and their pricing. I know, they are made of plastic. But, I am 76 years old and I can easily buy another Brother in several years. I am not going to be sewing 30 years from now. I don't need to spend a lot of money on a top of the line sewing machine.

I love the Anne of Green Gables!!!! Did you get a Roku tv? I have Roku boxes and got rid of cable. I only have internet and watch all the KZbin videos on my tv. Glad you are up and running again!

Anne of Green Gables is a lovely line and I've wanted since I first saw it. It will most likely be another string quilt once I obtain a coordinating background fabric. Yes, I did get a Roku TV. I'll have to get it completely configured as getting the computer up and running was most important to me. Thanks for watching and commenting. Be blessed!

Lower electric cost is definitely worth celebrating with fabric!! There is no much thing as ugly fabric. Just fabric that isn’t your jam.

Send me info on where I can send you a few kennel quilts. The shelters near me only take cash donations
@quiltinginthemancave564322 күн бұрын
All the info is on their website, sizes, materials, finishings and you can select what shelter you wish to send them to. It's kinda silly to send them to me and then me turning around and mailing them out. This way you can choose the shelter you want to help, perhaps one in or near your state. Thank you for helping!

@@quiltinginthemancave5643 23K? Oh hell no. For that price it had better read my mind on what I want it to sew, wipe my butt, and serve me a glass of iced tea at the same time.
@quiltinginthemancave56439 күн бұрын
@@mannfan12 For that price it had better do more than what you mentioned, things that can't be mentioned here! But it does have some awesome features. You should at least check it out. Babylock has the same machine they just released that costs even more.

Reminds me of a friends mother. She passed away a while ago. She loved those rag newspapers you see at the checkout in the supermarket. She said, "They could not print it if it wasn't true." She believed everything she read. Elvis is alive! LOL... The only thing, that has to be true, is what is in quotes.
