Whitney, this is truly amazing. I want to replicate your door x2 for my sons for their room downstairs like you have done. Your door looks fantastic & I love your Star Wars shaped door with the lighting. Very, Very cool. Could I send you my email for you to email me your schematic for the actual parts? I plan on doing the construction in the next month and I want to order/buy those parts and make sure I have the correct parts you have. 1:33 I never used Alexa before (I use Google Home and Philips Hue). Can you take out the 'Alexa' command all together?

I’m not sure, I never used Google or Philips hue. But I’m sure you can change it to work with those.

@@remconet Havent checked in awhile but you could change it to "Computer" and some other goofy things. So not sure anymore. Using this door with voice is not really recommended. But i definately use it for troubleshooting purposes etc. It can get ugly and unsafe if the timing gets off and you close the doors on someone....so beware of the voice commands with moving equipment! :)

That is correct, unless you have access to the valves equipped with the manual release buttons. I have a slide door next to this so i do not have to worry about it. Thanks for watching!

Not picking at it just wondering why the off lines in it? I have had horrible luck with everything I have bought from Creality except their filament. Was thinking about getting one of these but my Bambu and my new Qidi Plus 4, don't show layer lines like that. Did you just run at like .28?

To be honest I don’t even know, I’m using the Creality Print slicer and don’t know what I’m doing yet. I fumbled my way through it. I did however make a change to my model so i can change how it sits on the bed. Other prints like the Benchy (already sliced) came out almost as if it were resin printed. In other words Im a noobie all over again.

With my ender 3 I'll level it then print a large raft and little by little tweak it for a good half hour till it prints perfectly.

This is awesome. I would do mine with handprint scanner that would unlock and open the door. And use an electric actuator like you had on the cockpit video, so wouldn’t have to have an air compressor nearby.

I have the same control unit as this and I am going to follow this, I bought some diodes but you didn't use any do I need them? I got near similiar solenoid the one listed on the website is not avalible for me in th uk so I search and got pretty much the same one its a 2 way normally closed only difference is on the site is 2V025-06 and mine is CE IP65 other than that they are identical

@@4m05 After checking the parts list I remember this now. My machine came with the diode and connector mentioned so I did not need to purchase. At least that’s what I remember. The diode was already tied to the connector. Good luck!
