So addicting. The harder it is the better you feel when you complete the challenge! Thanks for Watching Shawn!

yes, really cool work. Along with all the other devices I see available. I really like the "Fresnel" effect on that lens. But two questions: 1. Why nearly 2 inches in diameter? General Alarm indicator? Seems to large to be a control panel indicator lamp. I'd think something like 25mm with only 4 LEDs would be plenty bright. And question B: Why the gigantic nut? Seems like it's height would be predicated by the number of threads needed to hold it in place - 3, or 4 at most. Just asking, not criticisms.

Hi Chunkkingmann. Thanks! Answer 1. A frequent customer of mine asked for one so I thought it would be a Fun challenge. I did try with less leds and varied how high the leds stuck up into the lens(forgot to mention that in video) But more made it glow just right. Answer B. At first I thought I was going to push the led housing up threw the bottom , I never went back to fix and it seemed to make it nice and sturdy so the top wouldn’t break off the base. The length of base would allow to mount to any thickness of dashboard, boat, car. …. Thanks for watching!

Excellent work, Dave!!! How did you make the cut outs in Fusion 360 for the red lens interior? Thank you for sharing this with us!

Thanks Aedo! For the cuts I just kept building what would be the negative space then extruded that from the lens to get the look, It took awhile to get it to my liking! Thanks for watching
