You just need to disable VMX. Disabling AVX and AVX3 cripples your processor.

It would be a lot easier to just install Linux. Windows 11 is not worth the TPM 2.0 requirement, especially if a system doesn't already have it.

hey i'm in eastern KY too, Estill county. i'm wondering if he ever got it put up on the roof, and if its still working, i didn't see a follow-up video. considering getting starlink for my own place, if its worth the money.

I never got around to doing the update. We got it mounted on the roof about a week after the video. Starlink is 100% worth it. It has gotten faster over time thanks to more satellites being put into orbit. In a year and a half, it’s only went down three or so times for less than an hour. It has definitely changed our lives out here in the country.

No. Different motherboard manufacturers have different chips. And often, a single manufacturer (e.g. Asus) may have different chips for different models of their own board. Your motherboard manual will tell you which one that’s compatible with your model.

You could have just enabled PTT in your BIOS and not installed this chip at all! I just installed one in my amd board for no reason, I wasn't experiencing the stutter bug. However, with a dedicated TPM module, I don't get event ID errors because AMD's TPM isn't signed with microsoft properly and the Infineon chip I'm using now is!

I got mine in and i get random crashes in linux. so i tried windows 10 and 11 where i get a bsod even if use a dedicated gpu and disable virtualization. losing my mind. if anyone has some advice im open to trying

Please don't use that PSU, it's a fire hazard, you're putting you and your loved ones at risk, the 90+ sign is fake, it should be 80+, keep an eye out for these scams, such as bombs that look like computer components.

Thanks for the concern. I didn’t use it, because it was 220v and I didn’t realize that when I ordered it. Don’t worry, I don’t make a habit of using janky power supplies. I just bought that one to go with the weirdness of the build. The last 3 PSUs I’ve bought have been Seasonic.
