These are awesome! I saw these up close when I visited the moffat distillery, never seen anything like them before! Ultra cool that they are made with those materials, especially recycling the old car parts, genius!! They are so unique and rock solid, just what you need when having a few drams in the distillery!

I made on out of a compressor tank and it was fun doing it and it's works beautifully. Mine is a ugly duckling but it works and cost me very little. I'm gonna try a 100lb propane tank one like yours next. I got a large shopping cart and gonna build it on that so it's more portable😊

Me and are a few friends are going up to Scotland on Wednesday to kayak this river in inflatable kayaks. We have been doing it for a few years on gentle rivers locally but we go up to big water of fleet viaduct to camp twice a year and this time we were planning on kayaking to the sea, but based on this I don’t think we will make it. Is this usual water or after a heavy rain/storm surge? The river by big water of fleet viaduct seems very calm and shallow but we haven’t inspected the river further down. Thanks

But.... Did they have Tupperware to prevent bugs from getting at the food, in this underground fridge?
@MrChrissy1r2 жыл бұрын
They only stored the ice in the tunnels, a servant would collect some ice and take it back to the indoor larders where the food was kept.

Outstanding, well done, how does it cook. I have seen a trend in offset smokers having long chimney stacks to increase draft. Brilliant video too pal.

We can certify that no needle was damaged in this, we put a needle cover on & secured it in place. The same needle is still on & working well.

This is excellent. I've been on a few southern adventures after the odd storm. Is this the one with the tunnel split by a wall? Paddled it last September and seem to remember it being very very narrow and absolutely choked with trees. It was more of a grade 2 scrape despite all other rivers in the area (Nith, Ettrick, Yarrow) going to huge on the gauges and we ended up getting off at a bridge just past a motor services yard due to time constraints so maybe we didn't quite get down to the more exciting bits. I'd love to see a guide for the Megget water
@kayantics4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment Nick. Yes that is the one! There are a few rivers like this around here, we will try our best to get covering more and more of them. We will look to get the Megget covered as one of the next ones for sure!
@AngusRobins4 жыл бұрын
Take it there are portages for the grade V's?
@kayantics4 жыл бұрын
There is..but they can be a bit tricky sometimes because of how the river will narrow into being fairly continuous at these parts, so make sure you scout well! Also worth noting there have been a fair few new trees recently, we aim to clear them as soon as we can, but haven't got it quite yet. Happy Paddling!

I carefully removed the gas valve had me laughing my ass off🍻🍻🍻. Fun video to watch! I'm almost ready to get my first fire going in my build. Offset reverse flow smoker, so far all materials have been used from scrap, left over from old jobs and a few friends garages. Two can of high heat paint for around twenty dollars 🇨🇦. Thanks again for posting this video 🇨🇦🍻🥓

genius! I have a playboat that is much lighter (33lbs) but I carry it to my typical spot for 15 minutes. using this method, I could easily carry it further and get more time on the water.

Living in the USA I'll never visit this course but enjoyed the video and appreciate it. Most whitewater and whitewater courses are more difficult than they appear from first person view movies (GoPro footage).

Since you had raft support it's a shame not to take the full 25 days allowed, especially with the short winter days. Haha, I pity the guy rowing trying to keep up with the kayakers!
@kayantics6 жыл бұрын
Yes we wish we could have. Unfortunately time constraints in life meant we couldn't this time. The rowing wasn't too bad at all to be honest. We will do it again in the future and take longer over it for sure, an awesome place!
